Rowie knew, but refused to run with the story until he got confirmation from the AFC it was legit, who all went incommunicado as soon as the news of something happening got out. He'd been touting something "big" happening as soon as he got on the air, so most everyone was guessing it was either Danger staying/leaving or it was Sando being sacked.

I watched a AFL 360 show earlier in the year, where Mooney said that Pods was never the number 1 goto forward at Geelong. If Cameron did come, he would drop to 3rd or even 4th best forward, which is where he could really shine.

I think Sando did look after him during his time, with that said from the parts of the games I have seen this season, he did take the pressure of Tex to some extent. Pods also stated that it was his dream to play AFL (like everyone) and play anywhere where he could. He also said his body is not that of a 10-12 year player in the system, which is a critical.

Maybe he gave someone his word. Could be many possible reasons.

I'm just as doubtful as anyone about croweater, I would put money on him not having good information. Hounding him for new info and giving him shit is over the top though - he's given us what he says he could. Any disappointment over Clarkson not being our coach is no ones fault but our own - I bought in and still am unreasonably hoping there's something to it. For all we know Crow eater is a Port plant playing the long game and laughing his arse off (unlikely but wouldn't put it past them)

Rowie was waiting until the Crows gave him permission to release the info. They told him that he would be the first to get the official word from them when they release a statement. Rowie waited like the good little servant he is and then AFC released the statement on their website and left Rowie looking like the clueless flog he is. He had the biggest story of the year and let it slip lol. He is just an example of how bought out the Adelaide media are to both AFL clubs.
