HA! if you look up "contrary to Rucci's view" in the dictionary you'll find the definition is "reality"

On to actual new. Rowe now saying:
"All along he was led to believe Bolton had the job" - he has changed his tune on this.
"Bolton interviewed Tuesday, all quiet"

He's now asking if Bolton interviewed badly.

Re Bassett - have heard from source, via Norwood, that he is very keen on the job. Reckons he is a great coach, but not loved by all (but respected). From someone's that has worked with him his biggest negative is he's basically a control freak. (Also suggests if Bomber stays at Essendon he will be leaving regardless as the two butt heads)
I can confirm Bomber & Fred don't get along.....

So it was always meant to be Bolton, and we nearly actually appointed him, and it never was Clarko at all, and now there's a longer delay for an unknown reason.............

Or maybe it's the bloke from Melbourne on RSVP with the same username and a pic with a crows scarf around his neck....

Anyway, I'm new here, have been lurking for over 12 months, so decided to make an account.

100% on the Bass bandwagon. Missus is a huge Legs fan, along the with Crows, and she thinks he'd be great. Never bought into the Clarko rumours myself.
Does your missus know you've been extensively scouting RSVP ?

I think he has backed out and maybe considering other jobs.

That's not too bad. Doesn't matter if players and coach don't love each other as long as there's a level of mutual respect there. You lose that and that's when the trouble starts.

Yep.

I don't get how we can ALL know how full of shit they are (Rowe, McDermott, Rucci, Wilson, Jarman, etc), and yet people STILL get all worked up over their rumours.
So are we getting Clarkson or not?

Sorry to intrude, can anyone advise where and to what extent the rumours re Clarkson coming to Crows was initiated.
Has anyone outside of 5AA or crows supporters discussed this as a serious opportunity?
Would be a great get, but living in WA I don't get much SA news.

I thought Rowie said a week or two back that supporters would be pleased, wtf pleased with Bolton is he on drugs.... Neither Rowie or Bone have a true connection with our supporter base

WTF is this not loved but respected, its not a popularity contest, love has **** all to do with the selection criteria

finally maybe time for all to smash Roo and Fagan with 19th Man wants Bass tweets and if Bolton gets the job then we protest like Syd did against Wallace

nah, it was bouncing around in here well before that
But more of a 2+2=5 scenario. People wanted him, comments by the Chappy/Fagan indicated we want the best/premiership coach and the ball got rolling, fueled by 'inside' information and the useless footy media in Adelaide.
