Maybe Croweater78 is Stephen Rowe?! Both have gone quiet at the same time.
Or maybe it's the bloke from Melbourne on RSVP with the same username and a pic with a crows scarf around his neck....

Anyway, I'm new here, have been lurking for over 12 months, so decided to make an account.

100% on the Bass bandwagon. Missus is a huge Legs fan, along the with Crows, and she thinks he'd be great. Never bought into the Clarko rumours myself.

rowey claiming bassett was interviewed in Melbourne earlier this week. Bolton was spoken to and dew is meeting the panel today.

Also says bassett kicked butt.

so have we been doing all our interviews in Melbourne and that's why we haven't heard anything?

rowey claiming it was always going to be bolton... but now the delay means somethings changed

On to actual new. Rowe now saying:
"All along he was led to believe Bolton had the job" - he has changed his tune on this.
"Bolton interviewed Tuesday, all quiet"

He's now asking if Bolton interviewed badly.

Re Bassett - have heard from source, via Norwood, that he is very keen on the job. Reckons he is a great coach, but not loved by all (but respected). From someone's that has worked with him his biggest negative is he's basically a control freak. (Also suggests if Bomber stays at Essendon he will be leaving regardless as the two butt heads)

McLeod is doing some amazing work with indigenous youth, while it would be great to see him at the club, I can't help but think he is doing more for the greater good in his current roles.
You could get him in the fold and rookie list Waylon Manson.

Could possibly be backed up with this - "working remotely"

Sounds like it

If so it's contrary to Rucci's view that we haven't been interviewing because Noble's been in Melbourne

Yeah no doubt, it's obviously something that means a hell of a lot to McLeod as well. Sort of why I'd like him as a development coach/mentor given it would mean less hours at the club he could still contribute to the club/players.

I really have no idea just how busy he may be with the current programs he's running and whether that's all done from Adelaide or if he travels but if he did have some time up his sleeve, I think it would be great if we had him at the club in a part time role to help out whoever seeks it/would most benefit from it.
