Im glad the Power are looking for a replacement on their board, it will make our job easier finding a new coach in 2-3 years time.

I'm feeling the same way. Walsh sounds good, but if we're going back to him and the Dasher/Campo/Clarke/Bickley well with him then the club hasn't learnt a damn thing. Needs Walsh, a senior assistant and replacements for Campo and Bickley at a minimum.

Agree 100%, if you want a fresh start you need to clear the deck a little!

Hope they don't keep the original sidekicks

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced Sando was a muppet who didn't think before opening his mouth. Great guy though.

I know it is said ad nauseum about less than a kick to a grand final, but I am always appreciative of him taking us that far in 2012, probably the closest we came to playing on the last Saturday in September since 98.

For that I wish him all the best in life.

Highlights:

1) He has now mentioned Symes and Brown as players crossing "the great divide" after missing them in his previous article.

2) As a poster here predicted, his recurring themes are there again, sticking it to Walsh for not having previously had ambitions to be head coach and not having spoken glowingly of the Crows. Hmmm, did Mick Malthouse speak glowingly about Carlton when he was at Collingwood, or Matthews about Brisbane when he was at Collingwood?

At least he has admitted that the appointment was a total surprise to all, himself included.
