The Next Eight Rounds

Splitting the season into three sections:

The first seven rounds (just now completed).
The next eight rounds (Tough Games Ahead).
The final seven rounds (same teams as first seven).

The first seven rounds earned us 4 wins, we can expect a similar result from the last seven rounds, i.e. 8 wins from 14 rounds.
(Am I getting carried away here? - I actually predicted 4 wins from the first 7 and 5 from the last 7 in my preseason predictions)

That brings us to the next eight rounds: (The tough games)
How do you think we will go in the following games?

Rd 9 Sat May 24 Collingwood v St Kilda TD (night)
Rd 10 Sun June 1 Hawthorn v St Kilda MCG
Rd 11 Sat June 7 St Kilda v Brisbane TD (night)
Rd 12 Sat June 14 St Kilda v Port Adelaide York Park
Rd 13 Sat June 28 Melbourne v St Kilda MCG
Rd 14 Fri July 4 St Kilda v Essendon TD
Rd 15 Sat July 12 Sydney v St Kilda SCG

Our success this season depends on our performance through these eight games.
So looking at the draw how many games do you expect us to win?

I think we can win most of these games but conditions must be right.
If we have some wet weather for the outdoor games that will make it difficult.
Brisbane will be hard to beat as will Collingwood.
It will also be hard to topple Sydney and Fremantle away.

If we win 4 of these games we should be encouraged. That would make at least 12 games for the season and a possible berth in the finals.

I reckon winning four of those games would be a realistic target. If we do that, and perform well in the run home, we could end up relatively high on the ladder.....for a Saints team.
