Unless I don't understand how the whole 'West One the developer is likely dead in the arse so probably not possible' thing works, because of the IP thing, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

If you want to play some Gamecube on your PC with a proper controller you can now use the Wii U adaptor via Dolphin emulator. I started Twilight Princess with the Wavebird, the controls work perfectly, just facing slowdown in some parts. This will tide me over until I find a GC version of the game.

Want to buy a mate a Wii U game, was thinking of getting the next big game on Wii U but don't know what that is? Preferable one coming out in Jan/Feb?

Otherwise, what are the big games out right now? Already has Smash and Kart, doesn't want Bayonetta 2. Was thinking the Toad game?

If it's my Birthday in a couple of weeks that you are talking about then I don't have Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze yet

That would be one I would suggest though.

Kirby is coming out soonish I think, but it might be a bit late for you.

If it's not strictly 'nintendo' games you're limited to, I love Deus ex human revolution.

Haha all good. Was trying to think of options other than Toad which is one I'm not overly excited for either.
The Toad puzzles were probably my least liked part of Mario on WiiU. Not that I don't see the appeal of it, just that type of brain buster problem solving does my head in

Bought a Wii U today. Setting it all up fine, up to the point where I try to link my existing NNID. Each time I try to do so, I get the same error. 102-2613. Which is "the information entered is not correct". The annoying part is, it is correct. I've checked both online and on my 3DS, both match what i'm putting in to the Wii U. I've even changed the password to see if that would help, but nope.

Any ideas?

I remember being very frustrated and found a youtube tutorial.

I have no idea how I remembered my NNID information from when I had my Wii connected ...

Just ordered Bayonetta 2 Special Edition. Thought $60 was a good deal.

was that the ozgameshop deal? I almost bought that but saw the game was I think UK PAL. Supposedly European PAL is fine to play on our systems but it hasn't worked in my experiences.. I am now super cautious about it, although I have a bunch of European 3/DS games that are fine.

No issues with my copy of MK8 which was included in the Amazon package.

I've bought heaps of European PAL games on eBay and ozgameshop and no issues whatsoever. Possibly something else was wrong with those games because any European PAL game should work on an Aus PAL Wii U

and yes the first Nintendo Direct for the year is on after midnight, 12:30 for Adelaide, 1am Melbourne etc..! rumours of Metroid 3DS...

Never imported UK games for my GameCube so have never checked. NTSC games are a definite no go.
