Didn't get to see this game, as ESPN3 only had Collingwood and Carlton... but after looking at the Richmond board, I'm wishing they'd shown GC/Richmond instead.

I just get the feeling it's the club, not the coaches or players.

I've seen some very talented players go through, and yet none of them seem to reach full potential. Richardson had the ability of Buddy, and probably more than Lloyd, but probably only dominated two seasons, one of which was in his 2nd last season on the wing.

Whether that's the board or what, I don't know, but it can't just be a coincidence that they've continually failed for the last 30 years.

The negative consequences of a toxic culture can't be understated.

I think we suffered from it ove recent years, to a point. When a couple of teams are ruthlessly striving for success, and others aren't, it can get pretty embarassing.

Richmond are a team of potential stars and complete duds. It is a cosmic impossibility that Luke McGuane is on an AFL list. It makes even less sense that he plays in the same team as Trent Cotchin.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of tin rattling nuffies.

I hope they lose every single game for the rest of the year, preferably by big margins.

And yes, I'm an arseh*le.

Norf. No contest.

But when they imminently fold, Richmond will take the mantle.

I was a little concerned a month or so back at the thought of both of these two finishing higher than our mob, but that looks a very long way away at the moment. :)

How?

Sydney won't drop out of the 8 anyway, whereas Freo can.
Freo are playing West Coast, Sydney are playing the Bulldogs. The way I see it, Sydney should beat the Bulldogs, and Freo should lose to West Coast. Plus, that means we win and knock Carlton out of the 4. And I like Freo better.
