I thought the legal roadblocks mentioned several times throughout the thread would have been enough...
they are able to be overcome easily but that would require all party's to come to an agreement.. unlikely but not impossible.

depends money talks bullshit walks. Think the pay day even after UFCs take will be more than anything Conor has thought about before. Remember he prob be able to get sponsorship and endorsements.

Nothing do with Conor it's about the UFC. If he's contract doesn't allow it, Lorenzo and Dana would want a hefty penny as UFC are getting no value other than publicity if it were to actually happen.

I can't see how a UFC/Conor/Mayweather split, or Conor getting release from his contract would happen?

UFC will prob pay a bit overs for Nate/Conor and we'll see them at 201 or 202 and the circus continues.

From a money perspective Nate has played the whole situation beautifully.

I thought the same a few weeks ago as well, but now I'm not so sure, a lot of signs are pointing to yes. I'm starting to wonder whether Conor pulling out of UFC 200 had anything to do with this?

Now multiple outlets reporting of a deal

Still think it wont happen

I laughed

McGregor vs Alvarez - lightweight title

Aldo vs Holloway - featherweight title (interim)

In a perfect world McGregor and Aldo win. Then McGregor drops weight and fights Aldo for the featherweight title. If he wins he holds two title belts.

Which would mean he has won three fights in a row at three different weight divisions and two of them title fights. Would go down as one of the G.O.A.T

Then I'm assuming he would hand back the featherweight and focus on lightweight. Have a few more fights and drive off into the sunset as a very very rich ufc legend.

He would already hold two title belts if he beats Alvarez...

He's defending his Featherweight title not winning it back.

The bum he knocked out in 13 seconds certainly isn't the champion.

This is all Dana's fault anyway. McGregor should of fought at 200, could have been Alvarez by 204 and knock out Aldo again by 206 or 207.

Now we have to wait another half a year, because Dana wanted to set an example..
