Do you know what the phrase "Similarly despicable" even means? :drunk:
Your first reply was to post some video of someone being punched at a Trump rally. Your second post on it made no reference to "despicable" violence either. You make shit up you do every time

My second reply was in response to your absurd idea that whites would be 'lynched' by blacks - an incredibly offensive choice of words that I chose not to fixate too much on.

In this context, "lynched" is the correct term as it would be an assault by a mob defined by their race or political motivation. Stop being that special snowflake to win an argument

It's a racially charged term particularly in the US, don't try and pretend you didn't use it precisely because of that imagery.

I've explained it, get over yourself SM

He probably still thinks that. He ran his campaign targeting the states he had to - his campaign would have been focussed on different states had it been overall majority. Clinton ****ed up because she thought she had the mid-west states wrapped up - the so called blue firewall that Trump campaigned hard in and turned red.

Disgusting post, from a moderator too. Ridiculous mate
I'm only having a laugh mate. No need to be so offended.

I would have thought you'd understand. After all, isn't this whole conversation just you "having a laugh"?

Where do you see me having a laugh? You need to be able to read situations better.

Yeah you do. I'm only having a laugh as you know. Just don't indulge SM too much with it though ok

Don't think anyone else was having a laugh in that discussion either but there you go, claiming that all you were doing was having a laugh when you clearly weren't and were just trying to use that as a veil for your outdated, backwards views on the world as it is now.

You've made it pretty clear to me that if segregation occurred again, you'd be fine with it. Maybe not a supporter, but you wouldn't oppose it.

What was that post of mine in reference to?

I don't understand why you think I'd be ok with segregation. If anything, we have that now in the U.K as things become more "ghettoised" (are you ok with that term SM?). It doesn't work and it causes tensions so no I'm not ok with it.

I reckon he said what he had to to get in but will be more responsible.
Could end up being one of the greats IMO.
He can't totally go back on his mandate, but neither do I think he will be close to extreme as at times he appeared. He toned his rhetoric down as the campaign progressed anyway. The one thing I can't defend him on was saying Mexicans were "rapists". He probably said that on some evidence he had, but you can't call that out in such a way because the vast majority of them would not be. The Muslim thing he worded badly as well, but I understood where he was coming from. His words were also spun to make them appear worse than they were - but you got to expect mistakes from a man who has no political experience

For some reason, the term 'left/right wing' grinds my gears
I know what you're saying, but things are being forced down that road. We've got Corbyn over here, who is as left as you can be at this stage and now heads one of our two main political parties. It's happening because the left/right distinction has been so blurred as both fight for the centre ground. It's a backlash against that
