Some good news to come from that egg boy story is that he donated all of the GoFundMe money he received to the victims of Christchurch. The total was $99,922.36.

I can’t honestly say I would’ve done the same.

I can’t imagine the copy cats (how many politicians have been egged since then?) will do the same if people donate to them. Either the kids family is rich or he has a very generous heart. He said that he would do it and didn’t back down from his promise. [emoji106]

And Troy. The first 3 seasons were amazing.

IMDB lists Chevy Chase’s final episode, season 5, episode 1. Donald Glover season 5 episode 5. I think even though they were still on the series until season 5, the series wasn’t close to the level of season 1-3 during season 4-6.

Tried to watch the Force Awakens again the other night. Was even worse than I remembered. It looks like Star Wars, it sounds like Star Wars but it sure as hell doesn’t feel like Star Wars. Would say Disney killed that franchise but in all honesty the prequels had done that already

Have you tried Rogue One? That to me feels more like Star Wars than any other film since Return of the Jedi.

Highly recommend Rogue One (if you haven’t seen it already). Would agree with your comment about Disney’s handling of Star Wars overall however they at least nailed it with Rogue One.

The Last Jedi was very disappointing. My enthusiasm for these films has plummeted since.

Yeah I’ve seen Rogue One, a lot better than the first two films in this latest trilogy that’s for sure. Felt a lot more like Star Wars. Probably won’t bother with the last part of the trilogy later in the year though, I just have no interest in the story now.

Didn’t see the Solo film either. Not sure many people did. Anyone see it?

Solo was good, however the entire film felt a bit unnecessary. And the nostalgia was on overdrive which kind of made it a bit distracting, if that made sense.

Ironically, for me it was still better than The Last Jedi. But made a fraction of the money. I’m glad Disney have decided to no longer keep pumping out a SW movie every year.

Solo is worth viewing, but it’s not something I’d go out of my way to watch again.

The annoying thing with the film is despite how poor it was it looked fantastic. They didn’t overdo the CGI like in the prequels, and it had the look of the original trilogy but with 21st century know how. Hard to put into words why and how it fell so short

RJ Hampton has turned his back on college basketball to ply his trade with the NZ Breakers under the NBL's Rising Stars program. This could be massive for the NBL if it is starting to be seen as an alternative option to the NCAA. Hope the kid has a cracking season and goes top 5. He wanted out for a long time, and Ive read he only agreed to come back for this was movie under the promise that his character would be killed off.

For me, Luke should have featured much earlier and more prominently than he did. He was essentially relegated to the side and the new characters are just not that interesting/appealing.

I just watched the Deadwood movie. That was ****ing incredible. A beautiful ending to an amazing series - done 13 years later. Never too late to finish up on a great note.

There is a nice little scene at the end for Australians.
