Dont know about Arizona but I've got no points in the UK to gkve away.

Most games are like that due to short attention spans and the fact everyone wants it now rather than let it develop. Hence why there are so many games released as early access these days
Most games are the opposite and are designed to take players ages to get 100% completion on, not sure what you're on about.

I googled the 007 game and it said it's 15-20 for main story. That seems pretty standard for a single player action game?

The Jedi: Fallen Order and Survivor games are much longer I'd say but they're more in the category I was thinking of above which is that you can probably smash through them if you wanted to but getting the 100% completion takes ages. But these sorts of story driven games are usually designed to be manageable to complete.

Depends whether you're talking completion or story. Story, it's short in my opinion for what makes a good game.

15-20 hours is perfect for the game it is.

Hitman has ridiculous replayable value, not sure 007 is the same but there’s potential for added DLC.
DLC and pay for play content is annoying now, a lot seem to be doing it. Kind of like "lets half release a game for the full price and make people pay for more".

Yeah I played those on story mode and didn't bother with collectables and reckon it took about 20 each.

I reckon 007 is probably the length of at least two of the Hitman games (maybe even all three) if you’re streamlining the stories. The replay value comes from replaying levels over and over again. 15-20 hours is definitely a good length of times for 007, especially for a game that is pure story.

Loving my ID 4, got it last week, sorted out easiest charging spots, charges in about 20 minutes while I do the groceries, and a great drive.

It's the prices still putting me off. Although we'd also need something bigger with the two boys.
Ours was only a touch over 50k, on a novated lease very manageable but I'm sure second hand options would be even more affordable! Jaecoo only 30-something new too.

Heads up

Thanks mate. Just saved myself $200 and passed it on to my son. Though the sceptic in me says why didn't they just set rego $200 cheaper in the first place. Anyone would think there was an election this year.

Why is that cynical? As you say if they were doing it for the election, setting rego cheaper is exactly what they would have done.

What brand is that? We had a BMW I4 in the UK and that was pretty good. Only thing that sucked was coughing up for charging on long trips. Most places offering fast charging cost at least $1.20 / kw to charge.

When my 15 year old son gets to 18 i'll pass down our current 2nd car (Honda Civic) and buy an electric vehicle for sure. Can't beat them in and around town and charging at home (especially if you have a solar / battery).

VW. Yeah I charged it at the servo yesterday, effectively a full tank for $17, pretty happy with that when charging at home would be similar but over a much longer period of time. I might look at getting a level 2 charger installed at home at some point which would cut the cost a bit but depends how much the up front cost would be and practicality.

Maybe it's a ripoff in the UK hahaa.

I was using 150kw chargers though. Returning rental car at Heathrow was a nightmare as finding a fast charger nearby was difficult (most were occupied). I couldn't exactly wait around all day for the charge to complete.

How much was it costing you for a full charge? I don't know if the speed of the charger should make a difference (maybe I'm being naive) I thought you were paying the amount of power. So my last charge was 25kW which cost me $17.70. Equated to about 30% of the battery (I only charge to 80% anyway as you're not meant to go all the way to 100% every time). So I guess at most I'd probably be charging from 20-80% which would be maybe double that? Call it $35? If I was waiting until it was down to 20% or lower, I think that'd probably take about 2 weeks of driving.

Cost 30 quid to charge to 80% from around 30%. This charge only took 10 minutes (supercharger).

When you use slower charges its way cheaper.

However I had to return the rental car and was catching a flight so had no choice but to use the fast charger.

Fair enough, I would have thought that the slower chargers would end up costing similar because you're having to use them for longer but I guess I dunno how that all works. 30 quid to charge 50% definitely feels steep, and I guess that's going to start happening as servos offset the lost custom from petrol, which is why a home charger would be preferred.

Nah, they all charge per kw. I found one in Wales that was 11kw only that cost 20p per kw.

For the rest of the trip I charged where I was staying with family so essentially nothing. It's the long trips that sting when you need a quick charge.
