Anyone ever tried managing a league 1 team and take them up until they win the first division? How many years it took ya?

Finished 5th with Preston North End. Was almost 20 years if IIRC including being relegated 2-3 times.

Getting promoted to the PL is the easiest part.

Keeping players is the hardest with wages and relegation releases and constant money issues.
