While we're on the topic of music, what are people's favourite Aussie bands? It's tough to pick a favourite but the contenders would be The Church, Crowded House (the leader may have been a Kiwi but most of the other members were Aussie and they formed in Melbourne) The Go-Betweens, Divinyls, INXS, Tame Impala and Something For Kate. Cold Chisel have a bit of a bogan rep these days but my folks liked them so I listened to a fair bit of their music on car trips. I have a bit of a soft spot for them and Don Walker is a fine songwriter. However, AC/DC are absolutely overrated, they're heralded as rock gods but I find them incredibly samey.

My favourite Aussie band may be a bit obscure but it's Custard(probs my favourite band). Love every album they've released.

Which has decreased since the start of the year hinting at his performances being worse than this time a year ago and that it was his 2015 rankings points giving that high ranking. So his 2016 hasn't been that great.

He's still a lost cause that will not live up to his potential.

Am not familiar with them, but I was going to guess that you're a fan of the likes of Regurgitator, TISM etc? Late 90s they were pretty popular.

Me too. They used to put on a pretty cracking show.

Can remember them opening the show for the Chili Peppers in the mid 90's and out playing them.

They had some classic tunes. Track One would be my favorite. Were very good live as Chef said. Saw them once at Big Day Out back when I was young enough to go to that kind of stuff.

Spiderbait, almost forgot about them. Ol Man Sam a standout. TISM had an underground following, had some talent too. Supposedly they were all teachers, and used their fake names and costumes to hide who they really were.

It's a cable show... Lifestyle show it before 10. They pump up shows like game of thrones.
