Haha do you seriously want to do those ones? Where are NBA champions and Finals MVP? And I think you have to award more points for East and West champs as it might not be as clear cut as everyone thinks. Particularly out West.

ah shit, had nba champs and finals mvp there before, mustve deleted it.

i think wcc should be awarded more points than ecc cause the west is tougher.

I'll post a few points formats later. Then I'll have a poll and then I'll make an official thread and depending on how many want to put in money I may or may not make a comp with no cash involved.

I'm in...regardless of whether cash is involved or not. If theres enough interest, might be worthwhile running two comps - one for those who want to play for cash thats a bit more in depth, and a simpler, no cash, pride-only-on-the-line comp? In terms of cash - I reckon $10 or $20 entry would make it worth everybody's while....maybe a 70%-20%-10% split for 1st, 2nd and 3rd?

On the actual season itself, I think this year will be a lot closer than a lot of people think. Sure the Lakers have a great looking lineup, but like Miami, it might take about half a season for them to really gel. Oklahoma are a year older and wiser, and will be right up there - Miami have strengthened, especially by adding a shooter like Allen - even if he is injury prone with his ankles.

My beloved Celtics should be alright, but I really don't think we're championship material this year, probably second round of the playoffs is where I'd see us bowing out at the moment.
