A bit is up to Dwight, but mainly it is up to the 3pt FG%. We live and die by it usually, hit it like we did today and we are almost unstoppable.

Still think even if you shoot well from 3 pt land your gonna need D grabbing 20 10s to win the series.

Hope our 3's are on.

Because when they are we win, when their not we loose.

Takes hedo driving and Dwight dominating to really get them going.

I hope we can take it to the Cavs, and maybe, take a bloody game off them.

it may confuse them, having to play more than 4.

All depends on if the Magic can win at the Q. If not, I think Cavs in either 5 or 6.

I think Perk deserves a fair bit of credit for the way he handled Dwight this series, especially early on. He was pretty much doing it on his own with a gimpy shoulder - I'd say he earned a heap of respect.

For the series hell yeah. Today though he got beat down on as his 3-11 shooting suggests. Perkins D as always was great.

Chuck just called the Magic, C-Webb says we have the best team in the league but our ball IQ is too low and the Cavs homecourt will take the series.

:D You little ripper Orlando!
Huge game from Turk.

What a shame for Stephon Marbury :D He really deserved a ring didn't he...

hehehehe
Kevin Garnett -- who had stood throughout the entire fourth quarter -- was one of the first through the exit tunnel as it ended, stopping briefly for a pat on the back from former Celtics coach Tommy Heinsohn

Not sure what we will do during the off-season, no doubt some moves have to be made. I think the 'big 3' still have one good year left in them for a run at the title, Ainge needs to make sure they have all the necessary pieces.

All in all, a breakout season for Rondo, Davis and Perk to a lesser extent, with many more years of Rajon and Kendrick at the bookend spots, we are well placed for the future.
I'm sure the Celtics will need to do something, but I dont know what.

You're right, center and PG are booked in for a while, obviously KG, PP and Ray are also locks.

I think you may need some more post-scoring, but Big Baby looks better (although Im not 100% convinced).

I think you may need another defensive big but you already have KG and Perk (2 of the best in the game).

I think you may need another swingman to back up, although Pierce and Ray will get 40mpg in the POs so there aint a lot of minutes there.

To summarise, the team has no real weaknesses and only needs some minor tinkering to get right back there. I can't see a glaring weakness. Maybe just try and sign 2 of the best backups regardless of position. Id make sure one is a 4/5 as we dont know about KG's knees

Yep, thats a pretty good summary Funky. The depth of our bigs is not as bad as it has looked through this post season - KG and Leon accounted for 48mpg in the regular season between them. **** Mikki Moore off ASAP and look for a veteren backup centre that has thicker arms than I do and we should be golden. I guess it comes down to whether or not Garnett can get back to full fitness.

Anyway, I will jump on the Magic wagon for the remainder of the playoffs - Magic vs Nuggets in the Finals would be radical.

Yeah Garnett will be your big add.

And I'd upgrade Tony Allen's position aswell.

I'd love that matchup, just to see LeBron and Kobe spoon each other to sleep

It is unfortunate that Tony Allen is as dumb as dog shit, coz he can ball a little bit. If we do manage to get an upgrade at SF it would be great for Pierce during the regular season to cut back his minutes. I'm not sure that fatigue is an excuse for the way Pierce played (or didn't play) in this series, but it certainly looked to be a factor.

We have structured the salaries of Allen, Pierce and Garnett to come off the books one year after the other, starting with 18mil from Allen next season, so if a rebuild is required we should be able to pull it off.

BTW I hope we re-sign Big Baby, and they'll keep Eddie House, but I don't think Stephon Marbury will be back.
I would like to point out to Karl, that Boston's 3 point shootes (Ray Allen, Eddie House and James Posey) put the Lakers to the sword in last year's final series (whereas the Lakers outside shooting in that series was abysmal) so I wouldn't discount Orlando's chances.

BTW Renegade, your still a bitter old douche I see ..
Go Knicks !!! :D
