The Milwaukee Bucks will waive Gary Payton II and plan on signing Sean Kilpatrick.

Payton's 45 days of service as a two-way player are coming to an end. Payton's release is not a popular move within Milwaukee's locker room.

Kilpatrick was waived by the Brooklyn Nets to create a roster spot following the trade for Jahlil Okafor and Nik Stauskas.

James Harden anticipates continuing to play through pain in his bruised right knee.

Harden nearly sat for Saturday's game against the Bucks.

"I wasn't feeling well at all, but the doc came in and just told me that there's going to be pain for a bit, but you can play through it," Harden said. "It can't get worse, but it's going to be pretty painful until obviously you give it some time. Once he said that, I was like, 'Let's go.'"

Harden acknowledged that the soreness in his knee significantly limited his explosiveness.

"I wasn't moving like I usually move, but we won," said Harden. "Move on to the next game."

What a heroic act

Kobe like

Harden has obviously been on another level to Westbrook this year, and I love a Westbrook bashing, but this is pretty misleading. Harden has taken an additional 52 free throws and 140 more 3s.

Though Westbrook has been about as inefficient as any high volume shooting player in recent memory. It's retirement Kobe bad.

I’m sort of glad Westbrook is having the season he is.

How much he was talked up by many last year was a joke. Suddenly he was apparently better than Curry and CP3 all because he was breaking all time records for usage which helped him put up gaudy numbers.
