I have been thinking Brennan, Higgins or Pavlich.
Just due to the fact that it frees up a bit of cash that would allow me to upgrade Boak and Seaby in 3-5 weeks time. Perhaps Boak > Judd if Judd gets off to a slowish start and Seaby > Cox.
But then again, it would be nice to make a direct swap with a top line premium in Brown (I already have O'Keefe), but i just wonder how much longer he can keep getting those monster scores.
But......
Brennan - Has gotten off to a good start, but is it a breakout year for him as far as SC scores go? Or will he nosedive within 2-3 weeks?
Higgins - Super consistent start to 2010, but i already have Hall. For some reason 2 players from 1 team on the same line deters me.
Pavlich - Gun player. Can rake in the big scores.
Goodes - Too expensive at the moment to be honest on his current form. Probably a better pick in 5 or 6 weeks.
What to do?
That is a shocking forward line. One of the worst I've seen.
boak is a nice unique pick priced under the odds after the rabble of 09, should get to a decent price for a tasty upgrade.
not really many issues with 2 dogs forwards, we are generally one of the top scoring teams. shauny also battled op last year which hampered his avg.
goodes is a traditional slow starter give him a few more weeks imo.
pavs the interesting one. i strayed away as he has been shut down early the last 2 years (burning me in the process), should be a different story if freo keep this up.

O'Keffe. If you had O'Keefe you'd go Chapman but definitely O'Keefe, no question about it.OK so i have Brown, Pav, Harvey already and have a fairly simple, yet annoyingly important decision to make of either A) Chapman, or B) O'Keefe.
My concerns with Chapman are the fact that he has missed a large amount of games in the past 3 seasons. Another concern is that Bomber may start resting guns for the last few weeks of home and away (the most important SC weeks) and I will be left in strife for finals.
My concern with O'Keefe is that he will not continue to post these massive scores week to week, as Chapman is super consistant SC. I know ROK had a 109 average last season but something in the back of my mind is holding me back from making this trade.
Thoughts?
Is anyone considering Reimers? 300k, averaging 100 in the 2 games played so far and a BE of -20 odd. Too risky?

Definately Pavlich.Rioli according to S.E.N missed training today, nursing, or injured im not sure, but thats enough for me not to take him.
Grundy, havent taken much notice of him but averaging 110+.
Harvey or Pavlich
They or he is rushing to get back and it could be one hell of an error .
Thanks to our friends at tooserious.net, he should bottom out after 2 weeks at approx $540k if he comes back and maintains his average of 117.
Pretty sure that won't happen. They'll be careful with their MVP. Still, I'm sure Rooey wants to be out there ASAP. I think the right decisions will be made with him though.
I like your wishful thinking, but do you really think, after 3 months out of footy (or thereabouts), he will be back to his very best and pumping out 117's per game, despite the fact he only averaged 113 last year?
I can't see him being anything much more than alright (80-90 avg) for a while, as he eases back into footy before finals, and I could see him getting a rest between Rounds 19-22 if there are even minor setbacks for him.
Is risky to bring him back in, but if that's what takes your fancy...
All good points.....
Definitely will be watching his first cple of games before bringing him in. Problem is, the other gun fwd in Chapman is likely to be rested too!
True, I've had Roo pencilled in as my last upgrade for months. Even though I am not expecting massively high scores on initial return due to the fact that he will be under limited game time and I also think he might be a chance to hurt himself again in the first few rounds due to pushing himself too much.Definitely wait on him for at least 2 weeks. Players coming back from long term injuries generally play well in their first game back and bomb in their second because they are not running on that high of their return.

Wait & see might be the best approach.
