He might get better stats or better money elsewhere, but I think that's taken as read.
I'm not going to argue that he has earnt more or that he was or wasn't the better player, but when you talk about numbers, Bosh was better in basic statistics in Toronto. In his final year he was a 24-11 player (52%), compared to 16-6 player (54%) this season. Not even necessarily the case when you look at the numbers. He's already earnt more in Miami (in half the time, without income tax) than he ever did as a Raptor, and his stats and touches haven't nearly taken the hit some claim.
What's Cleveland gonna get out of Gasol? Will they move Thompson to the bench?
Odd trade

EDIT: Advances stats of final Raps season (left) vs current season (right).
TS%: 59 vs 60.5
TRB%: 17.7 vs 13.4
AST%: 11.5 vs 4.7
Win Shares: 9.6 vs 3.4
PER: 25 vs 20.3

Detroit just haven't built their team well. Monroe needs to be traded for both his own benefit and so Smith can shift to power forward.
Find Detroit a good outside shooting wing.
