I really like CHO but think people will be disappointed if he's thrown into the first team week in week out.
Potentially, but he has performed to a very high standard every time he has played and consistently outperforms the two guys who are getting game time ahead of him. He deserves to start more games. If he’s out of his depth, drop him back to the bench. Simple. The issue people have with Sarri is that he’s not giving him a go. And it’s not like the donkeys in front of him are setting the world alight.

Chelsea still have Pedro (and next season Pulisic) if CHO can't handle it.
They play on opposite wings though.

He's 18, I think some Chelsea fans are being a bit stupid.
I don't think people realise how shit Willian actually is. CHO has been impressive everytime he's been on the pitch (made the Europa team of the week just gone by). Willian rarely assists let alone scores and is mostly a waste of space in the line-up.

There's merit in that but it is easier to look good when your playing in the lesser games and off the bench.

I think he does deserve more minutes but at this stage I'd still be easing him into the team.

Wonder if contract situation is another reason for him not getting as many minutes. No point developing him for Munich.

There are plenty of teenagers who regularly start for their clubs that are killing it at the moment. Vinicius Jr, Sancho, Nelson, Donnarumma, de Ligt, Sessegnon, Kluivert, Hakimi, Guendouzi, Havertz, etc. Other recent examples include Mbappe, Dembele, Pulisic, Alli, Sterling, Rashford and so on. I’m not sure why CHO couldn’t have a similar impact.

I don’t think the contract has much to do with it either. I just think it’s Sarri’s pigheadedness. He doesn’t think CHO is ready but I don’t exactly trust his judgment at the moment.

Spot on mate. Don’t pay too much attention to SM though. I hurt his feelings this morning so he’s been following me round all day trying to get my attention lol.

Challening you on a weird opinion about Sarri in here is hardly 'following you around'.

“Challenging” lol don’t flatter yourself kiddo. What’s my weird opinion on Sarri?

Your tears about him suggesting Willian or Pedro would need to leave for CHO to start, despite being comical in your derision of Willian.

I don’t get it? What’s weird about it? Are you saying I’m wrong for suggesting CHO deserves to start more games? Because I think you’d find the overwhelming majority would share my opinion. Please tell me what’s so weird about it. Enlighten me.

F*** this guy can talk some absolute shit.

TBH what Sarri is saying is true in a way.

We'll have Pulisic, Hazard, Pedro, Williana and CHO next season if no one is sold. 5 players for 2 spots. One too many.

He also said he expects CHO to play 20 games this season, then 30 next and 40 the one after. Which to a club like ours that doesnt play much youf is a pretty big deal. Just hope he can see the vision and Sarri can stick to his word(if hes here).

Not sure anyones being stupid, we just want him to be used more. When he has played he's been very good and has earned to right in our eyes to challenge Pedro/Willian for that RW spot.

He was our best footballer in the preseason and should have played a lot more in the start of the season. All we ask is that he gets given a chance, yet he's still to start a League game while Pedro and Willian keep spudding it up.

I disagree. CHO could be a regular starter now. That’s why so many people are pissed off. He’s a machine and he’s better than Willian and Pedro already and will only improve with minutes. There are way too many examples of 18 and 19 year olds killing it in Europe for anyone to tell me he’s too young. And in a lot cases it’s for elite European teams. He’s been deemed good enough for Bayern, a side vastly superior to ours, but is apparently not good enough for Chelsea. Amazing.

Sarri is all over the shop as well. One minute CHO isn’t ready, one month later after after that comment, we block his move to Bayern and he’s all of a sudden ready after little exposed form. Now he’s not ready again and we’d need to get rid of Hazard, Pedro or Willian for him to regularly start. His recent comments have basically said to CHO that he’s no chance of breaking into our XI and establishing himself there, no matter what he does. It’s a pretty discouraging statement to make. Like most people, I can see why he’s desperate to leave.

Just so people know there’s no bias with it, I’m also surprised CHO hasn’t been getting more game time. I made a post somewhere on here a couple of years ago when I was in England, the FA youth cup was on TV & Chelsea were playing.

He was head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch, making something happen every time he was on the ball & they won easily. At that time Chelsea were on their way to the title & there I was thinking if I was someone at Everton I’d throw whatever I could at them to sign him at least on loan.

As for Willian, he pops up with the occasional goal but his slow play must be infuriating. See a fair bit of Chelsea due to the mrs, if he was a bit more direct like Hazard is he might produce more

Ballack: “He’s already on a level where he can play in the Premier League day-in day-out.”
