I'm more concerned by the choice of hat indoors.

Revenue generation has never been an issue. The clubs egregious spending on transfers, wages and agents fees are.Would be funny but the reality is much different. As recently as 2018/19 they were the most profitable club in the world:

FC Barcelona tops Deloitte’s Football Money League
The 23rd Deloitte Football Money League reveals the top 20 highest revenue generating football clubs for the 2018/19 season, with combined revenues growing to $10.6bn, a new record. Read the press release.www2.deloitte.com
A couple of seasons of normal matchday revenue (they have the most of any club in the world) & trading will see them back up the top financially.
What would have hurt them big time would have been no CL football which was a distinct possibility mid season but annoyingly they ended up making it comfortably.
Right now their biggest issue is current debt but that won't be too difficult to resolve for a club of Barcelona's stature. Bit of wishful thinking by the author of this article that they won't be able to refinance their debts which would be a big problem if it actually happened.

Now they are using financial 'levers' read borrowing more money.
91m loss in matchday revenue. How are they going to service the 1.5B Camp Nou redevelopment when that begins? The massive deficit from pandemic matchday revenue losses is still affecting them.
From this season onwards that wont be an issue.
One other thing I have been thinking about which will become a serious issue over the next few years is the effect of rising interest rates on football clubs. For example, United has around £500m of debt which is largely on long term debt facilities with a fixed rate but over £100m is on variable. As debt matures and interest rates rise the interest payable is going to increase significantly which will affect clubs abilities to spend money. United should be ok for the time being as US exchange rates against the pound continue to depreciate vs the quid. However, clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid who are heavily indebted to European banks will not have this benefit and in theory their interest payments on their debt could double (pretty close already) or treble in the near to medium term. The massive deficit from pandemic matchday revenue losses is still affecting them.
From this season onwards that wont be an issue.
Mes que un club my arse.Kinda glad Barca are in the s**t. After their holier than thou attitude in days gone by they can get *ed.

75m pa if the rate is 5%Surely that would be long term debt. A doddle in a normal turnover year for them to service.
If he had tucked it home through a small gap would it be "Dick finds the opening"?
You know what they say about Dick, cream rises to the topDick with an explosive finish?
at one point messi alone was estimated to make about a third of barca's revenueI would have thought that a fair portion of that matchday revenue was a result of Messi tourism though.

bit to process here. i see where many sides come from.
That time, she was on the money. With the Rashford tweet, she isn't. A huge overreaction to a photo op and maybe ask the question as to why Victory and Melbourne City weren't with all the other Melbourne teams.
game for wogs, ****s, divers, and immigrants.Oh honestly, why would you bother whinging about this.
Maybe Zelic and co should focus on why football in Australia is so irrelevant.
