Can be arrested and released on bail and go to work still?

Arrest was Friday and only suspended on Monday/Tuesday, doesn't necessarily mean the employer knew straight away

Doubtful that the player was arrested, charges brought against him and confirmed all since Friday plus a hearing in court where a judge grants bail (that would have not been able to be kept quiet).

Once charges are laid then the player's identity will be made public or the case will be dropped and the player walks free. You will probably find most uk based fan forums won't allow discussion of it because they could be found liable for obstructing the course of justice by allowing speculation in the public domain (I imagine this isn't really an issue for Bigfooty on this case being an Australian site).

Apart from the dailymail I can find no mention of age anywhere (31) for the Everton footballer who was arrested.



I guess all the media will be at Finch farm this morning to see who does and does not turn up for Everton training.....
