Interesting average height of women goalkeepers is 5’8” compared to men’s EPL 6’3”. Been calls to make goals smaller but doesn’t seem to be too big an issue ..been some good stops. You’d imagine penalties would be easier but haven’t seen that

New sponsor, apparently a rebrand so its a brand new name. Formerly Tempus Ex Machina and Biocore who have combined.

Sure Gaz Neville will have his foil hat on and try and link it to Clearlake haha.

Looks legit

That's quick. They often have a speed measuring machine at Melb Victory fan fests pre game. I got 115 once when I struck the ball perfectly. Most of the time around 95-100.

It was a great penalty. The accuracy was more important than the speed. If you find the top corner at 80km/h there's no way the keeper can reach it.

The speed of 111km/h wasn't exceptional and I still see the goalkeepers in this Women's WC not being able to kick it to the half way line. Goals of up to 209 km/h have been recorded. This hit by Ronald Koeman was about 187 km/h.

Shits of that pace are quite rare. 130 kmh is considered a rocket normally.

If 111km/h isn't exceptional why was it faster than every goal from the PL last season?

Not discounting the penalty in the slightest (fantastic strike, especially considering the run up), were all shots measured in the PL last season?

Just amazed that some of the strikes from open play wouldn't be hit as fast as one off two steps.

Anything captured by TV cameras can have its speed measured so I imagine there probably are stats for shot speed.

That's not how this penalty was measured. Was technology from the inside the ball.

This is what I was interested in, is it the same technology being used?

Because most teams probably pick the player they deem to be best at placing the ball in a spot rather than just who can blast the hardest?

Ok? My question stands as she placed it and hit it hard, and the poster in question was downplaying it on the basis of its pace.

Joys of getting old and priorities changing hey.
Yup. Everything else after those three you just make work when you need them to.

Always found it odd on here when people have a go at me for not watching our games.

Who cares if I don't lol?
