Yeah that’s true, but even then, who cares what other fans might say. If I was you I’d be dreaming of winning the flag, you should be all in on your boys at the moment.

And yeah if you choke people like me will have a laugh but so what.

I am just glad to be on the verge of finals and in the mix for something more than that.

Didn't say they shouldn't be excited, it was just over the top.

Ah yes, this one is a favourite. You are allowed to celebrate, but not to more of an extent than is deemed allowable for a few desperate randoms on twitter.

Hand shakes and a "well done chaps" only unless lifting a trophy boys.

It says a lot that one of your favourite games of a title winning season is one of three your team lost. I find that kind of sad, really.

Exactly. I love the narrative about Arsenal "bottling" last season. I lived every moment of it, I know what I witness, and I have my own view. Do I give a duck about what a Spurs fans says on Twitter? Not a chance.

Why is it weird?

His anger and emotional response to a game that took place what, 7 years ago? But also just find it hilarious whenever someone thinks they've scored the 'winning' shot in a discussion by snarkily telling someone their team is in a lower division now. As if it has any bearing on anything.

I thought his responses were all quite measured, I didn’t sense anger.

All he did was post a video of a goal he loved and then got mocked for it because his team didn’t win the league that season. All he’s done is defend his position.

His anger and emotional response

Huh? Read my posts. I was genuinely trying to understand why a Leicester supporter cared so much about a game they lost in a season the won the PL title. I find all of this celebration police BS laughable.

snarkily telling someone

Snarkier than this?:

Must be a fun anniversary for you every year

Of course, because nobody is allowed the enjoy individual moments anymore. Any joy during the season is immediately invalidated if you don't win the whole bloody competition.

Seriously, what on earth are you talking about? That goal literally is what kept Arsenal in the title race. If celebrating a huge moment in the context of a season is going worthy of being widely mocked, we should all pack and go home.

Will Carlton be mocked for celebrating Saturday is we don't go on and win the flag? Bet you celebrated winning the league that year. What a fool, seeing as you were relegated 8 years later.

Yeah no anger or overly emotive responses at all, on the money there Soz.

The original comment was mocking the Arsenal squad, not the poster.

In any case, it's been a far bigger blow out than it needed to be.

I've got absolutely no animosity towards you Planet14 , we just see this one differently. Hope to see you around on the board more.

This is how I took it. It may have become frustration later but what he said made sense.

He was exaggerating a point too with the relegation. We should never celebrate any moment ever just in case your team bottles it.

Someone's salty.

Community notes says otherwise. ESPN’s football content has done that a lot lately, making things up for clicks and “banter”. Football media is the worst it has ever been, it’s just nothing but dumb shit like this.
