Mid season rule change is worth asking about.

It all changed out of nowhere the week Luton scored that goal for a "foul" on the GK. If clubs weren't sent a memo explaining the change it would be silly not to ask
I don't have a problem with clubs getting clarification on anything from PGMOL.

Sensible thing to do imo.

But not everyone saw it that way, was just a bit of a dig based on that.

I dont think I can remember a clearer mid season change in interpretation in the PL, especially in area that directly leads to goals.

It's not just us, the one that started it off was far worse than anything we've copped.

Almost AFL like with the way they flipped it mid season

Not sure, I think the Dias one would be allowed most seasons, and the Harrison one was just a bad decision. Think we'll see similar to that ruled out over the course of the rest of the season.

The Dias one was the softest of about 5 from that game where nothing was called when in past years a few would have been.

Tbh I'm all for it. But should have been a pre season decision to make the change for a whole season. Results have been swung on that mid season rule change, not saying our FA cup game. But Luton scored a goal that if if it was a month earlier gets ruled out. And if they stay up by less than 2 points it comes down to this mid season change

What about Carlo? Handsome, excellent footballer and manager
Just thumped surprise title challengers Girona with Militao, Rudiger, Alaba and Nacho all injured.
Back 4 of 3 fullbacks and a CDM.

Fair to say that kane is as responsible as any for the Treble last season.

Can't thank him enough for not joining.

Maybe you are being facetious but I reckon Kane would have slotted into the City team, whereas I think they changed to accomodate Haaland.

Kane can play a false 9 role and is elite at dropping into midfield to hold the ball, link up play, or get a free kick. Haaland is starting to develop that in his game but is mostly a goal scorer at the point of the attack. Kane averages 22 passes per game, Haaland 13.

They are both quick and able to hold off defenders. Haaland probably shades that. Both are excellent finishers and have great instincts of where to find the ball in the penalty area.

That is some commitment.

First ever Hull City player to win a major trophy too so wouldn't be surprised if some City fans went over for Seri.

Great goal.

Not sure on the goalkeeping but it takes nothing away from the goal.

Crazy thing is he had a blinder the rest of the game. Their keeper, I mean.

He just seemed to completely misjudge it. Probably wasn't expecting the shot to be fair.

Another angle shows it takes a bit of a deflection annoyingly, but that might have put him off too.
