Totally forgot about Aurier. Wasn't he pushing for a move to Arsenal at the world cup? I assume that's completely died now?

Rodgers jetted off immediately after the Tottenham game (he didn't even stick around for the post match presser) and has been in Rome for the last 2 days on club business. My guess is he's trying to sign the Pope.

Was the frontrunner to be our Sagna replacement around that time, we went with Debuchy instead and he went to PSG I think. Has worked out well for us though as Debuchy's injuries have led to the introduction of Bellerin who has been a very solid performer.

Good player with potential to be better. I am a one-eyed Roma fan tho hahaha. Roma don't appear to be in financial distress (especially if they sell Strootman) so i'd think around 20-25m euros is fair value. They may ask for more though.

Guessing you're Balkan too? He seems to be pretty consistently considered in the top 4-5 players in Serie A based on a number of polls and awards handed out last season. I have to say I knew he was quality but I didn't realise quite how much influence he has on games, he's completed 80 more passes than any other player in the league so far this season which tells you about the role he plays and how proficient he is dictating games from Roma's midfield. With Gerrard leaving he'd be right near the top of my list of players to replace the captain, so fingers crossed the reports that we're negotiating for him are accurate.

I grew up watching Gazzeta with James Richardson on Channel 4 on Sunday's. Developed a slight mancrush for Totti, Cassano and a young De Rossi

and have been loosely following Roma ever since.

I wouldn't say Pjanic is top5 in the league, more like top 20. Top 20 in any of the top leagues is still feckin good! He's a top 10 mid tho. He's not a replacement for Gerrard in his prime but is better than Stevie is now. Much better player than the last Roma player you bought haha
