Doesn't always help. Just look at Arsenal's big shiny library. Makes Stamford Bridge look like Corey Worthington's street party :D
Just remember our manager has more trophies than your entire club.

I'd put moomba's house on Pogba going to City this summer.

As for Bale, if he goes anywhere (I still think he'll be at Madrid next season) then United seem the most likely candidates. Not all that confident though, might just play it safe and put pantskyle's 1982 Ford Fiesta on that one.

It really annoys me when managers have a go at supporters for not making enough noise.

A lot of clubs have priced their traditional support out of the game, they agree silly kick off times, they prioritise points over performance, they have stewarding policies that discourage noise and activity.

Over the past few years clubs imo have shown how little supporters mean to them.

Yet they expect everyone to turn up every week and cheerlead.

Arsenal have stewards telling fans to sit down.

Also FSF had a meeting about reducing ticket prices. I cannot think of a more pointless meeting.

Goes with what I mentioned about it being a client and tourist sort of crowd. Not saying it's the majority. Just too much of a portion that it is effecting the overall atmosphere
Happens all over England because of overpriced tickets and small stadiums. The clubs don't seem bothered because the money's coming in and the so called die-hards aren't paying up

In other leagues you have the added incentive to turn up and relentlessly boo your own players.

Really adds to the atmosphere.

Yep, it's a problem at a few of the venues. We desperately need a bigger capacity.
Would that really help?
I've heard some say Highbury was the best stadium in the premier league, but the Emirates is quiet and doesn't feel like home.

Replacing/expanding Stamford Bridge could lead to the same where you skew to far to the tourist that it destroys the atmosphere at Chelsea games?

In their defence, the Hull supporters were complaining they couldn't see the corner being taken and asked them to seat the Arsenal supporters.

Just watched Class of '92. Fantastic documentary. They're just normal guys off the field who happened to be pretty talented. Thought it was great, would probably watch it again.

And for as famous as Beckham is, he is incredibly humble and down to Earth I found.

Its better than a library or empty seats.
Capacity 85,450
Minimum attendance 46,500
Average attendance 71,763

You tell me.

Do lol at this.
Other than English and German sides, anyone bringing up empty seats is ignorant.
Spanish? Italian? Could walk up to the stadium and get a ticket to the game on gameday more often than not.

We need it desperately. We would easily sell out 60,000 most weeks and it's just lost revenue and fans who miss out on games. Don't care where in the world supporters come from, it's a dream of most people there to watch the team in blue live.

There's a few reports he has a £75m buyout. Will be interesting to see if anyone tries to hit it.
Why would they sign him for a record £86m at 24 years of age and put in a £75m release?

Exchange rate has taken a dive. Buyout clause would have been in euros.
