if only kun scored goals that made jod go wow.

hat trick vs bayern to save our arses. a goal to win the league. countless other goals that have saved our skins.

if only.
Well post them up mate, I dont see all of Aguero's goals. But does he have goals like the one Suarez scored against Newcastle with that audacious ability to bring the ball down at full pace off his shoulder, then calmly go past the GK.

Or the ridiculous lob from 40 yards against Norwich, or in the same game his flick over the defender then takes it early and surprises everyone and lashes it into the corner. Or that freak header from outside the box last season, I cant remember who against, maybe WBA. Or his array of ridiculous FK's or his almost half way shot against Norwich at Carrow Road. His great goal against Sunderland I think it was from pretty much the byline. His ridic nutmeg and curler from outside the box against Stoke I think it was.

The list goes on. Suarez is definitely capable of the audacious. I cant remember any from Aguero though despite him being an excellent goal scorer. Does he even take FKs?

Does it even matter? All worth the same value no matter how you score them.

Spectacularly of the goals matter?

I'd rather be in the right place at the right time and get a tap in from a cross than blaze away from outside the box and fluke one once in a while.

EDIT: My point didn't come across in that line. What Im saying is I'd rather consistently get easy goals, then occasionally get highlight reel material.

If how spectacular a goal is counts, one could argue Asmir Begovic is better than Suarez. Yet anyone with a brains knows that is sheer stupidity.

Yeah but if you do both. Suarez doesnt just score 5 goals a season but they are all audacious bits of skill. He scores 30+ a year where plenty are ridiculous.

Anyways, all im saying is that Suarez >>> Aguero. It's no shame on Aguero is probably top 5-10 in world football.

I once scored by accident lobbing it over the keeper when I was trying to play a through ball along the ground.

Sometimes BF is so dumb.
It's hard to split them but if I had to pick one it would be Suarez. His 2013/14 season was better than any season Aguero has ever had and he's backing it all up at Barcelona. He was also playing in an inferior side, which is why he would often have to do the spectacular to score and Aguero would just have to be efficient.

I made 5 dribbles in a cup we lost but I still got man of the match.
5 dribbles? Did you just stand there and read out your BF posts?

While some of those goals are very good, the defending is appalling for some of them as well.

That Norwich flick is some of the worst defending you'll ever see. They basically invited him to shoot from there.

They are very close but personally I'd have Aguero.

What frustrates me with this is I completely agree with him getting a call up, but when other small, recently promoted clubs had players having stand out seasons last year, Roy completely ignored them, and in some cases led said players to declare allegiance to other countries where they are now having their praises sung.

Yeah there's definitely that.

To be honest, they're only getting a look in because Kane is playing with the U23's (or is it U21's?) and there were a few injuries. Don't think they'll stay there long but it's awesome they're finally getting the chance from the old dinosaur.

I think the breakthrough of guys like Berahino, Austin and others from small clubs might finally clue Hodgson in that the best players for England don't all play for a team in the top 6.

I certainly hope so. These kind of games are perfect for him to try something new with the team, that's for sure.

I'll be watching that England game with interest now :thumbsu:
