and i think bersant celina, the kid who put in the cross for kun's goal in the 3-1 loss against leicester. it's between norway and kosovo, he has played 2 games for kosovo but also played for norway's u/21's after his 2nd cap, even after he previously rejected a senior norway call up in 2014.
I'd think Celina is a dead cert to choose Kosovo.

In case anyone missed it; UEFA has a brand new member joining in the ranks!

Kosovo is the 55th nation of UEFA. All that can be said is that there is one certainty: Number 10: Januzaj.

Oh, it should be noted that any Kosovars that are currently playing international football are free to leave their nations and play for Kosovo.

That also means that as of the 16-17 Champions League season, we will see a Kosovar team in the comp.

Gibraltar is also a lot closer to becoming an actual FIFA member, and in time to attempt to qualify for the World Cup thanks to overturning the decision to reject them.

I wonder what they are going to do with possible Serbia v Kosovo games? Could be a very tense prospect.

Could well end up similar to Israel and Palestine who never play eachother, never mind the greater unrest meaning Israel play UEFA. Besides, if Palestine is allowed in - why not Kosovo? Both have declared autonomy, despite not being official nations.

I don't have a problem with Kosovo moreso that from memory Serbia doesn't (or didn't) recognize Kosovo as an independent nation, and with the large number of ethnic Serbs still living in Kosovo it could make a meeting between the two countries a very volatile proposition.

But i think you are right, they'll just be forced to avoid each other.

They won't play each other. Spain & Gibraltar also cannot play each other. Anther one is Russia / Georgia.

Pretty much the same for Russia-Georgia, Russia-Ukraine, Armenia-Azerbaijan, and Spain-Gibraltar. Just keep them separate.

That said, I don't think that's going to be much of a problem this time around, since we're going to go to the Nations League for Qualifying, which ironically means they are more likely to meet in the Euro finals themselves, since one team from the worst 25 will qualify for Euros. Since Kosovo is only allowed to take part in Euros, that would be the only time to worry about them.

Came to post the same thing, has there been an indication or confirmation of what the crowd capacity will be capped at?
I think they shut off the top tier which limits capacity to 50000. They might be able to open it for Champions League games when we qualify for it again

Champions league games were horrible for Arsenal at the old Wemberly.

Aren't you playing the UCL games at MK Dons?
Not looking like it, they want to ensure that we can get into the stadium on schedule and that may require the removal of the north stand earlier.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/apr/22/tottenham-champions-league-wembley

Tottenham could play Champions League home matches at Wembley next season if the capacity at White Hart Lane is reduced to help build the club’s new stadium.

Spurs plan to move into their £400m home at the start of the 2018-19 campaign but have been told part of the current North Stand may have to be removed next year for the project to stay on schedule.

Not hard to see why either.
