You made a comment about Hodgson, I questioned who you thought would be better. Thought that was a simple request. You then had a big rambling post with no managers named, which didn't answer my question. I called you on it, and you had a sook and came up with a silly list of names.

I mean, come on.

Roberto Martinez, Garry Monk, Steve Bruce, Sam Allardyce would all be higher up the priority list than ANY of those you named except maybe Brendan Rodgers who was probably the only creditable manager you named.

Monk doesn't have much experience so I didn't include him. Bruce has had his shot to impress at the top level and hasn't taken it. Allardyce could be good, but given I'm criticising Woy for dull football I didn't think he was that far removed. Martinez for whatever reason lost the Everton dressing room. Otherwise he was in charge of Wigan. I didn't see the track record as compared to getting someone with a bit of fire or simply an unknown quality who might do something in a cup situation. The point remains the same. There are a truckload of managers the world over who could do the job. Woy is meh.

Hm, maybe because I asked you to name managers who are available and better than Hodgson, and you didn't name any in your response. Would think that's fairly straight forward.

There is not a truckload of managers around the world keen for the job who could do a better job. Your laughable list only highlights that.

Most good coaches don't want to coach a national team until they have finished their club career. A lot of coaches don't want to coach England (French, German, Scottish). Not sure if Pellegrini is still available but he'd be an interesting option.

I've got a feeling the Spanish Government passed a law forcing the rights to be sold collectively rather than individually like before. The new deal will be based on a similar model to the English one.
