Ibra is awesome and will score closer to 20 than 10 if Mou starts him. I think he will be first choice striker, because Mou should see potential personality issues happening between those two egos and will therefore make sure to embrace Ibra fully. He'll be like Ruud Van but with the Cantona celebrations.

The penalty one was interesting.

I skimmed a bit but was I correct when I read if a player stops his run up then continues his run during the taking of a pen, he will be yellow carded and it will then be a FK to the opposition.

So say Chelsea get a pen against us. Hazard stops mid run up, then continues on and dispatches it bottom corner as Karius goes the wrong way. The goal will be ruled out, Hazard gets a yellow and we get a FK from the penalty spot??

Yes, but he has to stop. They still allow slow downs, so it would be a big call for a ref. Essentially the point is to minimise the advantage a striker has in waiting to see which way the keeper is going, but most strikers will still be able to do the run-slow-place tactic.

BTW, you spelt "OK I probably did get a bit giddy and over estimate what a good signing Schweinsteiger would be" wrong.

Next time I'll google "Martin Edwards women's toilets Old Trafford". Might get a better result there.

He's no Falcao coming off an ACL, he's fit but just a little older, he's gone on from league to league and done the business there, no excuses for him not to in the PL, he's a big guy but he's arguably the most talented big guy ever to play.

Giroud is meh for a big guy yet he still gets in double figures

Ibra 10-14 goals in the league this season is my prediction. Doesn't have the physical ability to dominate for an entire season which you need to score 20 goals +.
