Strange rule. Can you play against parent clubs in domestic cup comps?
I remember Chelsea kicking up a stink about Courtois playing against them for Atletico one season in the UCL, nothing they could do to stop it.

edit: story, they wanted Atletico to pay them for him to play rather than blocking it http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/26972498

We never were looking to stop him playing.

The fee was in the original loan agreement.

Yeah I remembered it incorrectly. Seems the fee was in the contract but wasn't in accordance with UEFA regulations.

Good to see that Dave knows what's what:

'When asked how it feels to be the best goalkeeper in the league, his response: 'Ask Hugo Lloris.''

Neymar will go to another level once Messi and Suarez retire and he becomes the main man, wouldn't be surprised to see him obliterate some goal scoring records.
He's already breaking goal scoring records. He was the main man in their last UCL win scoring in every game of the knockout stages but you didn't hear about it amongst the Suarez / Messi junk time goal fap fests.

Costa has 43 in 68 games for us. Which is a fantastic considering he doesnt take penalties.

A lot on that list too would be in easier leagues to score. Aguero, Kane, Costa do very well I think. I think Sanchez is high 30's too.

Where's Jamie Vardy? :)

Yeah it's a lot different now to how things were in the 70's and 80's. If you have any record of a sexual offence you won't get employment with children which is quite right. These things weren't in play 30 or 40 years ago. Just talking about the campaigners makes you feel sordid, but I do think there needs to be a conversation around the whole thing

Melbourne's paper this morning. Not football related of course but...

Ronaldo has 73 goals in his last 70 league games.
Messi has 70 goals in hist last 70 league games.
Suarez has 64 goals in his last 70 league games.
Aguero has 57 goals in his last 70 league games.
Lewandowski has 55 goals in hist last 70 league games.
Aubamayang has 54 goals in his last 70 league games.
Higuain has 54 goals in his last 70 league games.
Kane has 50 goals in his last 70 league games.
Griezmann has 44 goals in his last 70 league games.
Neymar has 40 goals in his last 70 league games.
Benzema has 32 goals in his last 70 league games.

I knew he'd done well since 'breaking through' into our team but that's some very good company. He's the youngest on the list too as all those others you'd say are in the peak of their careers.
Why haven't you included Ibra? He's ahead of Kane despite being a pensioner.

He has also played against Bastia and Troyes in his last 70 league games so....
And look how well they are doing without him.

Pretty funny you disrespect the French league when a French team knocked you out of the UCL a few weeks ago.

On the paedo thing, I see it as an illness more than anything. For sure the worst paedo's are a massive danger to children and therefore should be locked up. These coaches though, they are more chancers by the sound of it with a penchant for young men or teenagers. I mean they are perverts, but if you aren't willing to engage then they probably back off. I'm not placing blame on kids in any way, but that is the way of it. There was a paedo who used to employ kids from my school for some printing work. I was never told the bloke was one so when I was introduced to him I was caught unawares. He invited me to see "the equipment" in his garage (the printing stuff) so like a lamb to the slaughter I followed him. When he made his move on me though I made it clear I wasn't interested. He backed off at that point and I never went back there again. Geeza ended up doing jail time and everyone who went there had to give evidence. But as I say, I think these paedo's are more sexual chancers, although my first hand experience is only limited to that one occasion
I think it's a bit different when the adult is in the position to ruin a kid's dream. Don't do as I say and you're off the team would be a powerful message for any young kid footballer who wants to reach the top.

Because I didn't collate this. It was sent to me.
If you want me to go through it I could.

Fair enough. I initially assumed it was a list of the top scorers over their last 70 games rather than a selected list of goal scoring records over that time period.
