Woody reckons we'll get multiples of the current TV deal under a live streaming deal.

Dont see the other teams accepting this. Will be a massive fight you would think.United are speaking to Facebook and Amazon about live streaming United games and moving away from SKY.

sky would be completely priced out of the market. PPV online streaming is the future. Utd vs Pool is viewed by around 700m fans worldwide. Imagine charging fans £1 to watch it with the 1/3 of the money going to United, Pool and Facey. That equates to £233m each. Teams could make more money in a single game streamed than on the entire current tv deal.I meant more that it will force Sky to increase revenue for TV money etc.
DAZN I think. Supposed to be a bit of a disaster. They do J league as well.i believe there is already a netflix of football in i wanna say germany
Individual tv rights would be a disaster imo. Good for the finances of maybe half a dozen clubs, but awful for the competition, the sport, the supporters and most of the clubs.
I don't think anyone had tried. Don't see why you couldn't. It would create a lot of separation for United and Liverpool financially.I thought clubs can't sell their own tv rights individually.

Breaking City’s cash monopoly would obviously be disastrous!Yep. Imagine being a small club trying to negotiate individual rights.
Yeah it’s heading that way. Technology moves on and why should clubs be stuck tied into what is becoming an antiquated system?Would be great for fans. Why pay sky a shit load of money for 4 channels if i could pay sfa and watch my team live wherever and on the go.
Quite seriously clubs like Burnley and huddersfield would get ruined.Breaking City’s cash monopoly would obviously be disastrous!
Hmmm perhaps. Not sure.Quite seriously clubs like Burnley and huddersfield would get ruined.
You think Burnley would get as much as they currently do if they had to negotiate an individual streaming rights deal?Hmmm perhaps. Not sure.
*assuming table accuracyYou think Burnley would get as much as they currently do if they had to negotiate an individual streaming rights deal?
No I don’t, but the bigger clubs also have to look after themselves. How does one keep up with the oil clubs spending? United for example should be able to utilise their strengths in order to keep up. Liverpool, arsenal and spurs also I’m sure would benefit from negotiating their own deal. FFP hasn’t reigned in City or PSG, so clubs are going to have to expediate their own finances otherwise they themselves won’t be able to competeYou think Burnley would get as much as they currently do if they had to negotiate an individual streaming rights deal?
