Went with a few friends to see this movie today. I didnt really think it was that good, as I was expecting it to be pretty scary, and yet there were only three or four moments that could even be considered slightly frightening

What were everyone elses thoughts??

well, we saw it in a packed cinema, and we were all just laughing at it instead of being scared!

very corny in parts, none the less, Nicole Kidman played a fantastic role.

Good ending also..similar to something, but good.

LOOK AWAY! Contains Spoilers!

I caught this two weeks ago. I wanted to see Enigma but didn't want to wait ...The Other was playing right then. I should have waited! I had a "SIXTH SENSE" about this! Dark & atmospheric but as soon as those dour three show up you just know they're dead dead dead. And the kids can't take sunlight ...yeah right.
And the husband shows up in the fog looking like he wished he was somewhere else.
Nic is radiant but like I said somewhere else...as she endlessly unlocks those doors ....I've been more scared by what comes out behind the doors on those shows like Rikki!

Did you see that really long trailer for Lord of the Rings?

hehe!! I absolutely agree with everything you have said!!
Fortunately for me though, there was no really long Lorg Of The Rings preview, and what was even more exciting was that there was no Harry Potter preview either

I was rather looking forward to the Lord of the Rings as they seemed to take years in NZ trying to get it right. THE thing I remember from those books was the creation of a complete other world with maps, characters and towns etc. I was curious what they would do with it. The preview killed my curiousity as it was, I swear, 10 minutes of humanoids hacking at each other in darkly lit battle scenes...zzzzzzz into my popcorn. BTW...the popcorn & coke was more than the ticket!!! What's up with that?
