The absolute biggest Thunderclap I've ever heard woke me up at about 3.30am - dog has been terrified all day and all night. Was real fun looking out the window over the ocean in my bed at 3 am last night though
that 3:30 one was an absolute belter.

Fair enough, so as usual he's taken ONE person's opinion to be reflective of everyone who lives in Perth. Classic SA strawman.

Don't know about burned at the stake but some form of cruel and unusual punishment might not go astray...arsonists are pure scum.

For some reason my quote function is ****ed today grrr.

But surely it's pretty barbaric to want them burned alive. Of course it's an appalling act and there's repercussions and you've gotta do the time, but tortured?!

I mean that's some pretty heinous wish. It's not them dying, it's them dying in potentially the most painful way. I don't understand that thinking as well. It's like those people who want rapist r*ped in prison or castrated by an onion mincer or something.

The interesting thing is, it's always the lowest common denominator who love this tit-for-tat mentality. The ones out the front of courts are the ones who tune into Channel 7 every night, too.

Why do you take shitty comments literally?

I mean when I read that post at no point did I think he was actually advocating for burning people alive.

I have no problems with that argument and you are right it is a heinous wish.

Do I actually wish for an arson to be burnt alive? Of course not.

Do I get angry when I hear that someone could of lost his life or possessions because of an arsonist? Yes I do.

Do I sometimes project my anger into unreasonable "wishes" that turn out to be rather extreme brand of justice? Guilty as charged.

Do you think that this sort of feeling is unique to just Perth? If you do, you better ask those affected by Black Saturday how they feel about the arsonists involved.

It's a pretty moronic thing to say though, come on. It certainly doesn't do any good and it just makes you look like a reactionary tool with blood thirst.

Yet another typical insecure SA post, feel that he is embarrassed to associate himself with Perth.
I like Perth. I don't like the shithole suburbs here but there are bad places in every town in the world. Got no issue with being in or being from WA. Plenty of people in Victoria, or Queensland, or South Australia, say things just as emotional and uninformed and I hate that too – it was a pisstakey jibe.

The fact none of you can seemingly take any criticism of Perth probably reflects on your insecurity.

everything you post has a bizarre vibe to it, like you are trying to prove yourself to everyone.

I wouldn't call "Barbaric Perth people are 500 years backwards compared to everywhere else" a critique.

If they started burning arsonists at the stake, I'd bring marshmallows.
