The Power's out

Seems the fires in the north east of Victoria have cut an electricity supply line causing massive blackouts all over Victoria

Power's been off here since about 4pm

Anyone else experiencing the same?

Pretty ********ed up! Beautiful night, could have had a dip and a stint in the gyme (what's a gyme?).

At least here I can listen to JJJ and surf the net!

I have power and have the air con on. They said on the news to keep air conditioners off but ehhh not my problem.

we were out of power for about 45 mins, fortunately it wasn't too long cos it's bloody hot without air con!

We were out of power for about half an hour. Came back on at about 7:10.

About 4pm it went out, I was driving at the time, and found it fun trying to negotiate traffic lights for the next hour or so

I got home and the power was on by about 5:30, but most of the rest of Geelong wasn't on till after 7

My biggest problem was that I was almost out of petrol - but all the Service Stations were out of action.

Was in the movies when it went out.

I blame Australia the fat nation, If we weren't such a fat country we wouldn't need air con blasting on full power 24/7 the second the sun pops out.

I was also driving from about 4pm to 6.30 (a trip that should have taken as hour at most). Driving without traffic lights is exciting

Played indoor soccer this evening and thanks to the power outage there was no aircon inside the stadium and the temp would have got to about 50 inside. And there was no cold water. Fantastic... I think I lost about 10 kilos.

I was at home listening to the cricket on the radio when the power went out in Melbourne.
Didn't go out here in Ballarat. Although on Wednesday we couldn't watch tv.
