You just had your bottom smacked in public.

No, go and have a look at that source again. I'm correct, just WA trying to put forward as positive picture with vaccination as possible.

Nothing to say on anything else? Or just going to obsess on the dodgy figures being fed to you to puff up McGowan's chest.

Now he has taken the so so brave move of changing the border with Qld from Monday he only has Tasmania left as his go to for border shutting… is he going to blow himself stupid doing it next week or wait till just before xmas…

...and now they've gone up. They're updated at least once per day, I'd say another week to reach 80%, but really, so what? He's said 90%, he'll announce something wishy washy at 80%, big deal.

12+ = 77.70%
16+ = 79.30%

So instead of obsessing over 2%, how about the other things I have posted about? What about something simple like the kid from Victoria being allowed to drive over to WA to join his new team mates at the WCE? What about saying he makes his decisions based on the best medical advice but then saying he won't open a travel bubble with the NT and SA because there's no economic benefit to WA? How about WA residents that are double vaxxed and quite happy to quarantine / isolate upon arrival back in WA but not being allowed back in despite having family, mortgages and jobs in WA?

Forest for the trees.
I think you need to recheck the situation. If you are happy to do 14 days and are double vaxxed you are allowed to return

Chomping at the bit? Nah, I know false hope when I see it, as I've said earlier I've given up on any chance being allowed to come back in.

Sure the border will open and close just as quickly when someone east sneezes.

If I were you I'd be be cautious in your plans if you wish to return.

Has the Test decision changed anyones opinion ?

As for the guy from the wce with the exemption. Hes double vaxxed and doing 14 days.

The whole country has a heap of examples of sportspeople and celebs getting exemptions - not even doing quarantine.

Do i agree with it - not really but hey bread and circuses has been around since jesus played centre half back for bethlehem.

That is not correct. My G2G was rejected 3 weeks ago wanting to get home for a close family funeral and a mates wedding. I don’t know what you need to do to satisfy their ‘compassionate reasons’ now.

I’ll have had my booster in the next couple of weeks so will have had 3 shots and still not be able to get into the state.

Are you a wa resident?

You darn well know what you need to do. Be a multi millionaire, a McGowan donor or have some profile… oh or go on the radio because that seems to get a decent strike rate because bad publicity is all he cares about.

I moved to Sydney in July for work. I know a few people over here who work here but have families back in Perth. We’ve all been rejected and told we’ll only be considered if our reason is to permanently move back.
The post i was responding to was about wa residents not being allowed back

So what is the problem if someone is triple vaxxed and willing to do quarantine?

Missed that.

And yeah sydney and vic are off limits.

Im talking of the low risk states
NSW supposedly opened up to people with compassionate reasons when our cases dropped below 500. We’re back above that now though so I assume we’ll be joining Vic as completely off limits soon.

Anyway, WA is only 0.7% away from having a date now so here’s hoping we get some certainty this week.
