Shitful night past couple nights, like aking up each hour and general sinus problems with my RA as things be cold. culminates in this morning where you know, kinda wanted to stay in bed, woke up before my alarm only to get to work and get asked why I am here, as they thought I was off despite nothing saying I was anywhere.

Guess it's just F me this week huh?

In London we had Nottage Hill at a restaurant out of patriotism and Jacob's Creek was available. Both sub $10 bottles here that they charged way more for. We seem to send a lot of the real budget stuff there.

Nothing is sub $10 in a restaurant.
A glass in a pub is pretty much minimum $8 for the house red.

So got a Coles shipment as wanted bread as CBF baking and some ice coffee as well as "oh shit I don't have things for sangas but I have sliced meat". Anywho...

Request made was to deliver to the door near where I am as you know, working.
As in probate, I have gates closed with many chains and many locks, so only opened one access.
At around the window of, I am at work, and I hear a knock on my door. Not sure which one, I have 3 of them, I just know it's not the one right next to the room I am in.
I get up and see "someone" exiting my driveway, this was the only access opened.
Look down and no shipment.
Go outside to the open gate, no shipment anywhere along the line to.
Go back inside, look to the other end of the house "they didn't right?". Hint: they did.
So near my front gate which is locked I have some bags with things in the footpath to the locked gate, and they would have knocked my front door.

So to go from instruction of walk the driveway and leave at door, as they could have technically backed in unloaded and drove off said driver;
Parked at the front of the house, walked the length of the property, entered the driveway, walked 3/4 of the length again to the front door, unloaded, walked 3/4 length again to exit, walked the length again back to their truck and then drove off.

1/10 delivery as they at least parked and deposited it on my property. But wait, it gets better!

So that iced coffee, rather than put it in its own bag since you know cold outside of condenses and you get exterior liquids, these people put that on top of not one, not two, not three but four blocks of chocolate.

So how do you feel about soggy paper on chocolate in a paper bag? And I am talking I picked one up, put it down and had a wet outline of the size of that entire block of chocolate on my bench top. So it almost like someone dipped it into a bucket of ice coffee. So I now have chocolate in plastic bags instead of paper after wrapping in foil.

tldr; at least the bread was in a different bag.

Chris Scott always comes off as a smug and disingenuous twat.

Someone who thinks he is holier than thou in football (which describes a **** load of cats fans)

Good to see you don't let it get to you.......

Can't say I disagree with anything you've said, but RUOK?

As an aside my plans for tomorrow right now are BBQ chicken skewers on the grill. As I made a few I'm thinking of just blitzing the rest then getting off my arse and making a filo pastry for a quick and nasty BBQ Chook pie. Might then just sear some bacon and pop that in for some added salt content and texture, but undecided at present sicne I do have a bench deep fryer and can make breadcrumbs so maybe nibbles would be better than pie?

It's more a, leave my chocolate choices be, my normal snacks are rice based and with citrus and chili things, so I got dairy, what's so disturbing about that?

"My" old butcher left me for a diff suburb, so I need to find a new supplier for meats and someone else that is flexible with "this snag needs more chili" sorta things.

Hey anyone having trouble replying to individual posts?

Currently everytime I reply to a post my reply jumps into the box of the post I am replying to ..... It isnt allowing me to reply outside/underneath the copied reply box

It is also glitching and adds a big space between paragraphs

Very weird

My arteries hurt reading it.

BBQ
A vinegar of sorts.
Tomato (though I also add plum)
Brown sugar (again baking supplies)
Spicing (I use ceyenne, garlic, paprika, mustard)

Then if you use fresh tomato you can thicken with paste or boil it to reduce water content, and if inclined you can remove some spicing use other sauces (like hot sauce or wors, soy) to flavour, or add an alcohol like a bourbon, your own smoke for eg. Then you can glaze, marinate, use as dip all depends on how you made, store and partitioned things.

Then it's just chicken thigh or breast and stick on a skewer if you marinade some. Relatively easy really, all about balance.

As an FYI, you can also peanut it in a blender (instead of the tomato) for satay instances as you can generally use lime in such things instead as hey I have a lime tree so it works instead of the vinegar. This is also where the coconut creme comes into it, as marinating meats in satay in the fridge and coconut makes it creamy for marinating purposes, and since I can't have much dairy since mucus things, coconut is good substitute creme wise. And you can then use peanut butters or make your own nut butters if so inclined, as say I prefer walnut butter s helps with my RA since it helps with inflammation instances and say less protein than peanut, but more fat to it.

Hey presto, you're on your way to making sauces and marindes from fresh.

Yeah, I stopped the supermarket on the way home and bought a bottle that someone else had already made.

It was really quick.......I went through the self check-out.....

I've got to have mint sauce with roast lamb. I had a crisis around a year ago, it was like coles wasn't stocking it.
I was thinking, its really only used on roast lamb, so some people might use a dollop a month or something like that.
Was really worried that the idiots who uses computers to determine their stock might decide it a dead market.

Anyway around a month later it was back in stock. with a special discount if you got two. Who then hell needs two bottles of mint sauce, but i bought 2 anyway because the discount was huge ( or they jacked up the price of singles a lot , i've seen that happen a bit ).
So now i have 2 years supply or something.

Very cool. I can’t cook to save my butt. How can I make defrosted chicken breasts cooked in an air fryer taste more interesting?
