You angry metal heads. I just bought tickets to take my son to see Beck perform with an orchestra.
I've got a BlueRay of Metallica performing with an orchestra........that's kinda the same thing....... :roflv1:

Currently trying to stop myself from picking up a '94 USA G & L Legacy I've spotted locally at a good price. I've only read glowing reviews, anyone with any experience of the early models?

It seems that guitar addiction is a real and concerning thing.

.Do you buy more guitars , more often then you need to?
. Do you need more guitars to get the same thrill you used to?
.Have you tried to stop buying guitars , but failed. ?
. Do you pretend to be shopping for something else, or looking at pr0n, when you are really shopping for guitars.?
. are you lying or making excuses for why you need more guitars ?

I've owned both a Legacy and an Asat (tele) but they were both early Korean made ones. Their tribute line. Same electronics though.

The pickups are their own thing. I'm not sure if they're still the same as they used to be. I started out loving the pickups but then went off them a bit.

I don't think I've played a USA model, but yeah by all reports they're great.

They are meant to be good guitars. Never played one myself but they get really good reviews. I always like my classics and they feel a bit modern for me even though I think they started in the 70s and look like a strat with a different headstock.

My wife has made me put a few guitars up in the attic and I'm like one of those hoarders that has hyperventilation episodes when someone chucks their old newspapers in a bin. "It's climactically unstable up there" with tears in forming levels of pathetic.

Yeah, I remembered that. Still like some kind of puritanical freak, I like them vintage or at least in style. It took me long time to like those big headstock 70s strats. Now I want one. The GL headstock does something to my sense of order in the universe that isn't good.

She'd know I was lying when my hands start shaking and my voice cracked.

I hate when my wife books one of those council hard waste collections because it’s always my stuff.

I checkmated her last time by targeting things she likes plus it rained the day before. She seems to have lost some enthusiasm now but it’s constant vigilance.

Must be pretty common given the stuff you see getting chucked out around here. I picked up a full set of decent American made pgf golf clubs most still with the shrink wrap on them. Told my son in law to find someone who needed a set, he gave them to an English guy who’s at the cricket club for 1 season.

Brand new set of 10 kg dumbbells with the price stickers on them, bikes you name it.
