True, I actually just cancelled a week in Washington starting at the end of next week! I've got a couple of days in Sydney at the back of this month and then 3 weeks on the road in May, starting in Amsterdam for a week, and then to the UK for most of a week and then back in through Perth. That works well the Perth thing, I arrive on the Friday we play Freo over there, and I've arranged for my wife to fly in and meet me and we'll go to the game and spend the weekend in Perth. I then have the following week in Perth and fly out on the Friday.

I do like an old school asian action movie. Did you get into No Other Choice? Park Chan-wook hasn't been that great recently. I preferred Decision To Leave but none of them rival Old Boy.

Furious looks like John Woo condensed down with some golden era triad violence. When does it get a release here?

Do you often get a bit of you time when you're overseas or is it mostly all work no play?

Mostly all work, but we get some down time. The meeting in Amsterdam is actually in Rotterdam, but on the Thursday we're transiting up to Amsterdam for the Thursday night for "team-building"....read a piss-up!

Have had days off doing the sight-seeing thing in London, Washington, Boston, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Bordeaux, and a number of locations around Asia. I don't know if it's the same for everyone that is required to do a lot of travel in their job, but I know for me, when the schedule gets to the point that you don't get time to scratch yourself, I tend to keep trips to the absolute shortest length I can, which means you automatically exclude the possibility of down time.

I enjoy it more when the schedule is less demanding, I know that. I enjoy the challenge of the job and the variety, and it's been something I've done for a long time now, so I had it pointed out recently that I become very blase about it, which is not good, you should always appreciate your opportunities.
