Just Volume/tone. I'm running through a Synergy modular preamp setup these days, so it's just plug and play for whatever you want. Running a Mesa MkII C module for rhythm, Fryette Pitbull Ultra Lead module for lead and a Friedman module for cleans. This new baby is kitted with Hetfield Signature EMG's through a Diezel VH4 module, awesome tone.....

The old EMGs that I had were good I think they were 81s but they got a bit muddy are the Hetfield ones cleaner?

81's and then I think 81's and 85's were a popular combo, but way too compressed for my liking. The Hetfield's are almost like a cross with a passive pick up - way cleaner and more open, but lots of grunt.

I like the Hammet signatures as well, they're like the 81's but not compressed sounding. More traditional EMG character than the Hetfields, but much sharper than the old 81's.

I'd love a double cut away Sparklejet next. An older one or a vintage Epiphone Crestwood. I like the weird stuff.

I'm loving the strat but the fretboard seems tight compared to the SG. My fingers are big so it can feel a bit tight. Also hard to get tones right. I changed the pick ups out and it still sounds the same. Think I just needed to get used to it.

I’d love a silver sparkle jet. It’s not something I ever would have been interested in but for some reason lately they just appeal to me greatly

But im after a jazz box next

Last guitar ever

Honest

What amp were you running?

I was an acoustic player as evidenced in my best selling release “Dr Spaceman Unplugged At Carnegie Hall”. Of course that was the one near Carnegie Station, not the one in New York.

Anyway your post has got me thinking [emoji848]

I've got them hidden at work and in the attic. My wife found a bass that I'd forgotten that I owned and bought another one to replace and flew into a rage. I'd hidden it up in a high cupboard where I thought that she wouldn't find it. I've got parts guitars that I bought to steal bits off and have them hidden in the attic too. Can't bring myself to throw the rest away. I really don't need more than 2 but it's a disorder.

Sounds like you need to start employing some strategies. My wife and I have an agreement, that I don't question how many pairs of shoes she needs, and she doesn't question how many guitars I require..............

Who cares?

Is that the right answer?

I had a gif pointing out their racism angle as answer, but thought it might be a tad too nuanced so instead chose prudence.

There was no wrong answer to such an open question, there might have been a right answer in General AFL chat as they are much more focused people on footy matters.
