Sounds that were around when Asgardian was a lot closer to the ground, gone from the charts but not from our hearts another solid gold hit on FM1099ad medieval ROCK ROCK ROCK ROCK ROCK ROCK ROCK All the time

So true ... :D

My taste in music goes from the classics, like Holst, to the far out, like Captain Beefheart, and the mainstream gods - The Beatles.

Can't stand a lot of modern stuff or rap.

Hate to be a pedant, but EFA.

For the record, I prefer Coors. Spewing it's not readily available here. Miller and Budweiser are also good.

When I am there I enjoy the Sierra Nevada pale ale and also the Arrogant Bastard ale. I have seen the Sierra N at Dan Murphys but not the Arrogant Bastard ale..

I really love Captain Beefheart. I thought I loved Zappa more but I don't. I love Don Van Vliet and his music makes me incredibly happy.

I also love the story that allegedly goes - Bono (the **** from U2) gets in touch with the legends manager and says "I would love to work with The Captain" the manager approaches the legend who responds "Bongo? Who the **** is bongo?"

More people should be aware of his extraordinary talents.

I thought every band or musician mentioned in the last couple of pages was dead.

They certainly are dead in peoples heads. I think it should stay that way.

I was thinking of getting a motorcycle license because well I don't have a job, and aside from golfing, fishing and drinking have little else to do for the next three months.

Thanks to the Departement of Transport thats not going to happen. To get the license you need to do 25 hours of supervised riding (50 if you don't already have a drivers license), Dad hasn't had his for 25+ years, so to do the hours I'd have to pay an instructor and that'll cost around $2000.

**** you Colin Barnett, **** you.

Ha never even considered that. You're a thinker Portia.

I live in WA, they just upped all the hours for this sort of stuff.
10 seconds research tells me you don't need the 25 hours if you already have a regular car license, do you have one? If not, why not do that as your priority? Heaps more eligible people willing to sit in a car for 25 hours.

Edit: Oh shit, thats just the initial one? And you need another 25? Wow, they don't like motorbikes in WA.

Harsh isn't it :( The only person I'm likely to injure on a motorbike is myself.

Yeah i'm on green P-plates, if i'd got a motorbike license 18 months ago when I got my drivers I wouldn't of had to do the hours, damn.

Edit: You're right about the L-plates though.

I don't drink coffee.

I know a few people from WA who got their motorbike licenses in SA when here for a visit a few years ago. Just because it was so much easier. Not sure if the rules have tightened up since though.

PBR is terrible IMO, both for taste and their douchebag following who think it's cool. It is cheap though, which is an advantage
