Great bloody show though. I think it was the first ever American sitcom I liked.

It strikes the perfect balance of genuine laughs, dad jokes, family and drama. It never needed to be rude, but wasn't afraid to be cheeky.
The pilot is sitcom perfection and the Season 5 finale had a dramatic impact that didn't need to be forced, simply using truth and honesty to farewell a beloved character.
The age old question isn't Diane or Rebecca though, it's Coach or Woody. Coach was incredible for his 3 seasons... but when Woody came into his own (such as his Kelly song), some of the greatest moments of Cheers happened.
