I don't begrudge Muse of what they're doing with their new albums. They're evolving and consciously making an effort to experiment with their talent. It was ok for the Beatles (yes, I know Muse isn't on the same level as The Beatles).

It's better than Linkin Park, who stated that they could have continued with their Meteora / Hybrid Theory rap / rock style but wanted to experiment, and now write poppy feel good crap to cater to the masses.

That whole show is next level genius. The scene in the pilot with Michael and George Michael lying on the model house lounge room floor ("George Michael, what do I always say is the most important thing?" "Breakfast?" "Family." "Oh, right, I thought you meant out of the things we eat.") is one of my all time favourite TV moments.

It was so good when it finally came together, and the recurring jokes started being used and making sense.

Man I love those first two Linkin Park albums, the lyrics are so ****ing awful and edgy but the nostalgia factor and catchiness brings me back to them.
