I didn't realise he was Jon Snows brother until I watched the most recent episode.

I don't think he is, isn't Snow the last name given to all bastards born in the north or something like that?

Books and tv adaptions never end well..I learnt my lesson after reading all of the James Bond books as a kid

They stuffed up big time with that recast of Daario, the other one was a decent character but this new guys meh.

The other one had a mystique and presence befitting his brutal coup and swooning of Khaleesi. The new one looks like every second chump handed a sword and told to look swordy.

Hate to get neckbeardy but I'm glad that they showed the most recent scene of him hunting down that chick, he is a huge psychopath in the books (much more hate able than Joffrey) and the TV series hadn't really done that justice until now.

Ahk just checked on the episode & you're right he said the Starks bastard brother, I thought they were talking about Ramsay.

Can't wait until Roose & Waldur Fray gets what is coming to them.

I have to admit Ramsay is a pretty funny character despite being a complete psycho, I didn't realise he was Jon Snows brother until I watched the most recent episode.

So many interesting future plots coming out of that purple wedding episode.

Does anyone watch Vikings? I've enjoyed that as similar genre alternative to GoT, Ragnar's son Bjorn is freaking massive considering he's only supposed to be 17.

I couldn't get past the lame Michael Hutchence character. I do agree, Blackbeard was a highlight though.

Haven't started S02 yet... Just caught up and finished True Detective, Vikings or Sherlock are next on the hitlist.

True Detective was great viewing, the next installment of that has big shoes to fill because that was some of Mcconaughey's best acting.

I realised on the tram ride home from the game on Saturday, that I can no longer attend PAFC games with my old man. As much as I love him, a combination of the following make gameday a bit of a grind.

• a lack of evolution with rule changes
• a lack of general understanding of the modern game
• distressingly bad eyesight
• the pisspot mates he runs into and up sitting/standing with us

Saturday was the final straw, where one of Dad's 'upstanding citizen' friends was farting right into my face as I sat on the tram, and trying to start a (heavily slurred) 'POWER' chant.

Consequently, during the game against Geelong, I will be pulling on my best pair of jocks and plastering on the charm in an attempt to make friends with any Port fan that looks like they aren't suffering from football dyslexia and isn't 10 beers down before the first bounce.

he's really lifted his game over the last few years... no more shirt off for 70% of a rom-com on his bill anymore!

I think it's a cool idea to have like 1 and done seasons, means there should be less likelihood of the show getting tired a-lah Dexter and HIMYM.

So keen to watch True Detective but I'm only a few eps into season 5 of Mad Men. Doesn't help that the 7th season just started.

The more the merrier, I guess.

Leaves at 3qtr time if behind, will yell out "just give em the game!!" to the umpires, if one bad call goes there way [This one really drives me nuts because it implies that Port's players aren't good enough to beat the opposition and that it is all up to the umpires to decide who wins]

Will constantly say "I wish I was home so I could change channel"
Will passively aggressively snipe at the opposition supporters..

My step dad on the other hand is great to go with.
