It looks like a lot on the chart, but one carton of 24x375mL bottled beer alone is 9 litres.

Most Aussie blokes would be in the dark blue after a month or two easy.

If you only count the alcohol you get 20ish cartons (depending on alcohol content) before you hit 9 litres. That sounds more reasonable! (unless it is a weekly graph).
