Anime, what a nerrrrrrrrrd.

Never been into the stuff but I have enjoyed Cowboy Bebop (if that qualifies for those who have a genuine interest in anime or whatever it's called). I also incidentally was watching the YuGiOh (lol) abridged version today what is a laugh.
Hunter X Hunter is the ****ing shit.

James Garner passes on.

Genuinely one of my favourite shows of all time. Saturday nights as a kid in the 70's, then re-runs during the daytime in the 80's when I was on the dole for a bit. And who would want to go get a real job anyway when you're watching Jim Rockford smoking cigarettes, eating hotdogs at the beach, and driving his Trans-AM around Los Angeles. RIP Jim. :thumbsu:

There were a couple of pretty girls walking around in dolly costumes near the railway station after the game Saturday. They said they were at an anime convention.

Was it a Pedo Bear approved anime convention?

Well if we're going to get theoretical...

I'm coming down for the Carlton game and if your attitude has not been adjusted to a satisfactory standard by then.

We'll be talking.

I live on the street that the motorcyclist died on last night. I know exactly what happened. He flew past my house at 9pm travelling at ~130km/h and plowed himself into a tree with his outright stupidity 500 metres down the road.

The fact the media call him a 'victim' is such a let off. He is such a fool for causing all of this grief for his family.

My uncle died of cardiac arrest in East Timor early this morning, away from his family (who live in South America). My 11-year-old cousin was hardly able to speak but managed to ask my nan over the phone, "Who will walk me down the aisle?"

Devastated is the word.

We drove from Middleton to Adelaide yesterday at around 4pm-ish. The number of out-and-out idiots taking theirs and others' lives in their needlessly impatient hands was a major concern. Three guys on bikes were weaving between cars and the oncoming traffic doing at least 120km/h.

Shit. Sorry to hear that.
Condolences.
