Because I don't have to go in to the city at all over the next 4 days I don't mind the Clipsal. It's good for the state, the sport and the fans. Seeing the Red Bull car driving through the city yesterday would have been awesome for the fans.

Me and the old man go each year from Friday onwards. Always a great event.

Red Bull fans are the equivalent of being an AFC fan in SA.
Generic racing fan who wants to support v8s but probably doesn't know enough to buck the trend and support someone that doesn't win every race.
Although the Red Bull's success part doesn't really translate to AFC in any way .

Phwah, tugging at the strings there mate.

Dad's just hit 50 and he quit smoking around 2 years ago so here's hoping many more Clipsals to come. I do often stand back and try to appreciate our time knowing that day will one day come. Fact of life unfortunately. I feel for you though mate if it's something you've been through recently.
