I loved the daily show with Jon. I watched the first four episodes with Noah and stopped watching, he comes across as being very shallow and it feels like he is just reading other peoples jokes. I wish Louis ck took the job.

Noah is doing much better than I expected. It'll take some time... He's replacing a guy who was there for almost 20 years.

He hosted a show in south Africa that was based on the daily show, That's my only guess how he got the job. His stand up though is really good.

John oliver has care and compassion for each issue he touches. Trevor Noah is like a nervous virgin his first time trying to touch each important topic briefly without giving each its fair due.

Ridge comes in to it at around 2:30, unfortunately, since decapitation by frisbee = good, and consensual adults having intercourse = bad, there's none of his sex scenes, but my word, get the movie and watch his acting in those sex scenes!

Segue, anybody watched the Daily Show with Trevor Noah yet? I like it. It's a bit more light-hearted than the Stewart version, but the social commentary to go with the laughs will probably come with time.

he's definitely no Jon Stewart, but from what I've seen, it's not too bad

I'm a huge fan of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver too, I feel like he has more freedom to criticise various industries and corporations on HBO, which has a subscription model rather than advertising
