Funny story but true.

Takes the Land Cruiser camping, me and mrs pistol break. Really full on national park, thought we were tough as nails. We do some hard core four wheel driving, get to our destination and we are pumped. Set up camp, the whole kit and caboodle. Life is good, we could have made a lovey dovey dvd.

Then the problem starts to set in. In the form of bees. Not one ore two, not one or two hundred, but ****i%$ng thousands, thousands. They set out to ruin our well planned out camping trip. Swarms of bees looking for our moisture, anything they could do to do my head in. We gave up after they were in our shower, and went home tails between legs.

The worst of it is, they got into the vents of the airconditioner, because old mate here left the car door open didnt he .....................they were looking for moisture and have since died in the vents of the cruisers air conditioning. So when i drive her now and put the air con on, it stinks like rotting flesh, but its just thousands of dead bees. Oh yeah, lifes good.

Not much we can say anymore.

The next few days will just be another round of old favorites such as "second amendment", "the social workers should've been armed" and "why should I have my guns taken away from me because of the actions of a few gunmen".

Unless it turns out that these particular gunmen were Arabs, in which case that last one becomes "terrorists, terrorists, we must crush an entire nation with Uncle Sam's massive military wang because terrorists".

Round and round we go.

Greatest show on TV in 2015. Tonight's episode 8 was fantastic! Kirsten Dunst is outstanding as Peggy. And Hanzee is turning into a great anti-hero. He was chilling at times but you had to laugh when he shot those blokes in the legs sledging him near where the plaque that 22 natives where hanged. If this season doesnt win a heap of awards from even more nominations, then either something is wrong or there is some brilliant stuff to come or I have completely missed some good stuff.

It is isn't it? Last week's ep I thought was unbeatable and yet they just go that one step more this time.

Peggy is completely insane and so well played by Dunst (almost unrecognisable). Also loving the Fat Damon's Ed. Or is it Meat Damon.

But it's just the tiny details (and symbolism etc but not in an over-the-top True Detective "yo we're being esoteric here, here, and over there see" kind of way)

Like the Sioux Falls hangman in the phone booth.

I would say it's some of the best television ever made

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I'm a rebel anyhow.

This year I moved home to Adelaide after 20 years away. The young fella did 3 terms of year 7 here so we didn't really get to know many of the other parents. He had his year 7 graduation dinner at the Seaton Hotel the other night and we were put at a table with one of his closer friends families. All was going good, was getting along great and having a good time.

Poor ole Jackson Trengove walks in for a quiet meal with a mate, totally unaware that a school bloody dinner was happening. Poor guy was not left alone for a good 20 mins.

Anyhow, this family we were sitting with asked what all the fuss was about and I said "thats J.T over there". As soon as it was apparent to them we were Port members, they snubbed us. I mean completely ignored us for the rest of the night. All 7 of them.

Seriously, I can't stand the crows, but wow.

Oh well, no skin off our noses. Bit of lol moment really.
