Oh FFS, why is it where every home DIY project something has to be a campaigner?

Put some new kitchen cabinets in, went together a dream, put on the wall no problems, put the doors on, one went on ok and one is on crooked because of those stupid ******* hinges, all hinges are adjusted as far as they can go and the door still hangs a few mm off the bottom of the cabinet.
let me help
what your problem is

you didn't pay someone who knows what they're doing to do it for you.

True but these were those kaboodle kitchen cabinets from bunnings, anyone who knows how to use a screwdriver can put these together.

I had to use spring toggles to put one cabinet up, the stud had a powerpoint underneath and was too scared that i might drill into a power cable, other than a wonky looking door, it looks good and is solid as a rock. :thumbsu:

Are you implying you don't know how to use a screwdriver given your hardship in putting it together?

I don't really have an issue with this. She still wrote all her own music and continues to do so.

There is nothing intrinsically wrong with pop as a genre. The Beatles and David Bowie released a lot of pop music.
i have a problem with anyone who writes pop and country fluff

People told me My Bloody Valentine were the loudest live band ever, saw them at the Enmore in Sydney and while it was loud it wasn't that bad. Saw Minstry a few years back and they were ******* loud. The Mark Of Cain are ******* loud and I'm thinking of trucking along and seeing them this weekend. But the loudest gig I have ever been to was Helmet/Melvins. During the Helmet show I am positive I suffered brain damage. My head and body were being physically moved by the speakers. I thought it was the loudest thing I had ever heard. Then The Melvins came on. Slowly at first but then as if the gig was in an SAFM/Dire Straits simulcast with my body my internal organs seeped one by one out of my anus. And I died.

**** that was loud.
Did you see Boris when they toured this year?

Perhaps, but haven't a few people just derided groups like Metallica, Fear Factory, and Trivium, for going for a more commercial sound? Why is that a mark against them, but Taylor Swift does it and everyone celebrates?

I guess metal bands are never allowed to change style ever, everything from their garage demos to final album must be a consistent sound in metal, or their fans will stage a CD burning that even Hitler would find a bit much.

Because country is pop for morons. Now she's just pop.

Anyone else going commercial should give themselves a reverse lowerstab.

The 1920s and 1930s were the zenith of country music, some of the greatest musicians ever

Of course it turned to putrid glug sucking crappola of epic proportions once Nashville Trashville became the norm.

Modern country has more in common with 80s rock, as Dave Mustaine so eloquently and insightfully pointed out in his book.

There's a difference between a band changing their sound to satisfy their own creative needs, and changing their sound to suit a commercial audience and/or make it on the radio.

It isn't possible that it is simply a coincidence that it sounds more commercial? Sometimes people get over being heavy all the time.

I think it's a coincidence that commercial usually means worse.

So my Doctor mate sent me a text earlier saying "Time to activate my inner cross dresser for my role in the Renmark pageant"

Nek minnit sends me this. Saying "Phase 1"
